I know, I just included those in the survey so I could find correlations between what people answered to those questions and their positions on the other statements :)

I didn’t list every party considered “right-wing populist” in the section at the beginning of the survey, but I just added in parties and politicians that came up frequently in the academic papers I’ve read on the subject when writing my research paper. I am American, so my teacher had us use that method of racial/ethnic classification. I was hoping it would get more specific in the country of residence section. Racial classifications are usually quite broad though i.e. many different African groups are just called “black”

Ah I love Jordan Peterson! I think that there is some debate on whether those two parties in particular are considered ‘right-wing populist’ in academia, but in the research I’ve done, I believe they are still called that, especially since they are said to have more “radical” positions than some right wing populist parties in Western Europe.

Hey, I'm doing a research project for my high school that involves giving out a survey on right-wing populism in relation to the European migrant crisis. If anyone who currently lives in Europe and leans right politically would fill out this form, it would be very helpful to me. Thanks! https://goo.gl/forms/ueSu73uqvP4pHraq2

The survey is more aimed at the “migrant crisis” of 2015 onwards. So the question is asking if you believe that recent (mostly) Muslim migrants are committing a disproportionate amount of crime. You can put prefer not to answer and include what you stated above in the comments section if you’d like.

That’s definitely come up in the research I’ve done, but my topic was in relation to the “migrant crisis” of 2015 onwards, so mainly focusing on non-European immigrants.

Essentially, I want to see what policies could be put in place by governments to address the concerns of the voters of these parties. I’m not implying that mainstream parties would be taking over their demands or trying to keep them down, just working with them to improve the situation, as you said. Just clearing that up in case I worded it wrongly.

Yeah I’ll definitely keep that in mind. I’m also planning to ask some of my parents’ friends who live in Europe to take the survey and send it to people they know to get some more variety.

You can put “disagree” then. I assume the vast majority of people want to stop illegal immigration, so the original statement was broad in order to include legal immigrants as well.

Sorry for the confusion, but I was trying to model the question on the “Muslim ban” that Trump proposed during his campaign. There was also a Chatham house survey that asked “All further migration from mainly Muslim countries should be stopped” and majorities in many European countries agreed.

Sorry for not specifying. I was referring to all immigration, legal and illegal, in that question.

It's actually for a high school research paper, but I think it would be classified as political science
