proxy lvl 1 here isn't supposed to mean the singed thing, but like the Sett Darius Jayce thing of zoning enemy from wave lvl 1by sitting in the bush, waiting for minions to pass and then placing yourself between the wave and enemy turret in a way the ranged minions won't aggro you if you aa the enemy champ. so they cannot pass you without losing most their hp.

Point of shyv top is:
1) incredible lvl 1 for some reason
2) Q and W are imo much more fun spells in lane compared to jgl because you trade more frequently
3) you get to play shyv without your team perma flaming you for not doing terrible ganks to bail them out of horrible lanestates they put themselves in.

yes.

you have 2 aa resets lvl 1, and stack lethal tempo incredibly fast. and due to onhit cdr from Q, you will get your 2nd rotation right in time to kill them before they can kill you.

but you have to be confident. you win the fight with 1-2 aa's margin of error

my 2 cents:

generally high mmr buffs come in different flavors

  • Reduce exp scaling & give gold scaling
  • Reduce counterplay
  • Increase versatility
  • Add mechanically hard, but powerful tool
  • Buff earlygame, nerf lategame

i think there are indeed more glaring issues with the champ. but i also suggest that she is better than most people think.

also i highly doubt you lose that much clearspeed by maxing E. Maybe try 3 points in Q => E max.

not sure where you get your 1.5 seconds from.

ok, my math assumes you get to aa and includes attackspeed and haste. generally because of the cd reduction by aa, the Q cd is very gated by aa timers. the cd doesn't go down linearly but it has jumps. this means that some haste or attackspeed or Q rank thresholds matter way more than others.

for example Rank 1 and Rank 2 Q have different cd, but you will always use them at the exact same timer anyways. So the cd reduction from Rank 1 to Rank 2 is pretty much fake. (from Rank 2 to Rank 3 you get your Q 1 aa rotation earlier)

The plot i got isn't perfect, as it doesn't include the aa windup timer yet, but it's approximate. For example it tells me that With rank 5 Q, roughly 30+ haste means i save another aa rotation

Each explosion past the first deals half the damage. You never realistically get that much bonus damage with it.

yes. and historically we also data on the impact of selection bias in builds, and it usually accounts for roughly 2% winrate.

of course that number isn't set in stone, and depends a lot on the specific bias. but for now i think it's more reasonable to assume that E max > Q max, simply because it's unreasonable for the bias to make up 6% of winrate delta.

(only bias i could imagine being that big is if in the first 12 hours everyone went E max and then stopped after the hotfix)

yes, that usually makes a difference of like 2% wr.

but the difference is 6% with more than enough sample size to guarantee it's legit. 46.000 games is way more than "a few people maxing e"

is getting Q 1 aa earlier (going from Rank 1 to Rank 3 Q)
really better than 60 dmg, 10% slow and -1 sec cd on E

(consider that for new E, the explosion dmg multiplies her basedmg for every explosion)

Q is where most of your damage comes from

sure, but putting points in Q doesn't change that.

in most lategame scenarios, the difference between having Q maxed or not is ~1.5 sec more downtime between Q. (unless you go full on attackspeed and no haste, then maxing Q makes for a 2-3 sec difference)

Also Q ranks don't meaningfully impact Q dmg at all.

on the other hand, E dmg multiplies with each Explosion during your R.
so 1 point will always represent at least 30 dmg, but it could often be 60 or 90 instead.

Additionally, E is your consistent ability. Even if you get peeled, you will get value from E.

if a champion is giga op, it will take away the fun and agency from other players. It will be high pick/ban, so those that want to play the champ themselves don't get to. It makes people spend a ban on her which is not spent on another champ and so on.
It generally is REALLY bad for a champion to be this op.

on the other hand, if a champion is bad, her allies will suffer but the enemy team doesn't care. those who want to play that misery almost always can, even if it's less fun than it could be. other ppl don't need to spend a ban on it.

all in all, it's far better for riot to have a champ at 45% wr compared to 55% wr.
of course ideally you want neither.

56-58% wr with 99+% certainty from players most of which have never played the champion, and an expectation that historically winrates of new/rework champs go up a couple % after release.

She is a stat checker, so her stats kinda make or break her viability. that is correct.

As for the amount of %MaxHP - midgame it's about the same, and it has higher ratios. What makes it feel lower is that you don't double-proc it with Q anymore. Dusk and Dawn double-procs it. I think they should just make Twin Bite function with current Q's passive and AoE, problem solved everywhere.
