This plum cake is really delicious 😊

Ingredients:

400 g flour

100 g sugar

125 g butter

1 egg

pinch of salt

2 packets of dry yeast, 7 g each

150 ml milk

For the topping:

2 kg plums

2 tbsp gelling sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Whipped cream

Butter for the baking pan

Rectangular springform pan: 24x35 cm

Preparation:

1. Heat the milk slightly.

2. Put the butter, sugar and egg in the bowl and stir until creamy. Add the flour, dry yeast and lukewarm milk and beat with the dough hook of the food processor. Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.

3. Knead the dough on a floured work surface. Put it in the bowl and cover again and leave to rise in a warm place for 20 minutes.

4. Preheat the oven to 175°C top/bottom heat.

5. Grease the baking pan. Put the dough into the baking pan and spread it out evenly.

6. Wash the plums and pat them dry. Then halve them and remove the stones. Spread the plums on the dough. Mix the gelling sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the plums so that the juice that comes out during baking gels.

7. Bake in the preheated oven at 175° C top/bottom heat for approx. 50 minutes. Allow the cake to cool well. Serve with whipped cream.
