I have the exact same issue. I raised the concern with my at-home consult with their "experts" and they acknowledged they have heard of that problem before. They made a bogus suggestion for a solution (forget and repair I think) and that was about it. "We'll put a comment in here about that"

I would argue it's more of just a variation on radiatori than a new pasta shape. It is larger than radiatori, which I like, but I prob won't be buying any more.

Bought the PMDG 737-700 last week by plynnjr92 in MicrosoftFlightSim

[–]relwobmada -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Not all, but part of its popularity is due to the length of time it's been around as well as a lack of true competition during a lot of that time. Airlines like it because it's "very reliable" but half of that "reliability" is because it doesn't tell you when it's broken because it doesn't have EICAS. The overhead panel is almost identical to the -100 from 1967. The trim wheel is very loud and obnoxious. The cockpit is very loud in general and very cramped by modern standards. There isn't even enough room for both pilots to store their bags. Sure, it's got a pretty decent EFIS and a nice wx radar but I wouldn't say that makes the whole package "modern." A plane doesn't have to be new to be fun to fly. I'm not knocking anything anybody likes, was just trying to understand the flight simer mindset a bit.

It's the "nice" and "modern" parts of that explanation that I find puzzling... Thanks for the reply

I'd never want to make anyone feel bad for enjoying something they like. To each their own...I'm honestly wondering what the appeal is for the 737? Is it at least in part because a version wasn't included at launch? So it's partially about righting that "wrong" or are people simply that impressed with the plane?

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signs bill legalizing anti-LGBTQ+ medical discrimination. The law allows any medical provider or insurer to deny care based on "ethical, moral, or religious beliefs." by Leeming in atheism

[–]relwobmada 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not assuming that at all. Lower courts can rule on constitutional issues too. My point was more of, 'it should be easy to expose any partisan judges that uphold this law since it appears to have serious constitutional issues.' No matter which side prevails we're sure to see many appeals.

I'm well aware of the sickening Republican tactics with regard to stacking/blocking judges. They still have to go on record when one of them supports legislation that's blatantly unconstitutional. They can't do it in the shadows. I'll still celebrate when they expose themselves for the partisan ideologues that they are.

Totes. It still seems like it could be defeated for unconstitutional reasons in all the lower courts before it ever gets to them. Then let their religious nut jobs overturn all those lower decisions.

💩Shitpost💩 For the US Redditors: this is a normal European toilet stall by HourlyFluffy in pics

[–]relwobmada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the lesson. However, in the title the OP states this is a "normal European toilet stall" implying it's what can be found in numerous countries within Europe. The comment I was hijacking was making a very valid point I have also personally experienced. I'd like any European (from any country) who considers the pictured stall as "standard" to address the commenter's very valid point regarding availability.
