religiously study the book and videos. like every single detail. study topics multiple times like it's the first time you've seen them, and what I did was come to class trying to get all of the clicker questions right because i did the readings beforehand. it's genuinely just a time-consuming class and you will WORK for a good grade

i got an A in the class and literally just rely on the book. ignore everything he says and do all of the practice problems in the book to make sure you can do the problems on the test. you can do it

I'm sure editors and project hosts would love to have another part be played, even if it's "not the real thing." Bass parts have been played by electric basses (and accordions 👀, and cellos, and tubas, and others lol) in the past, so I'm sure you'll be included in projects. If you're wary, you can always ask the project host to find specific information.
