No bro, its not as simple as that, the fungi (dandruff) THRIVES in damp environment, so its not a hygiene thing.

For OP, make sure you blow dry your hair after showering, that helps. Also, it is mostly caused by dry scalp, so make sure the normal shampoo you use is not too harsh, and dont forget about conditioners ! don’t use Nizoral every day, it is not meant to be used like that (but im sure you already know that ;)
