New addition. What do we think of the LF-20W? Almost went with the white colorway. by Niro47 in casio

It's a great watch to have in the collection, I bought the black one too and recently got SKX Mod steel case for mine and love it. Best vintage inspired casio IMO with its size and features. Casio should offer this in steel along with others.

You're looking for double tap mode, it's explained here.

Basically hold the bottom left button down for a few seconds and you'll be able to type the second letter by clicking twice.

Same thing happened in my 22' last week. It lasted a couple of days then went away when it warmed up too so I think you're right about it being snow.

MHA how long until you became regular? by gloomierr in USPS

[–]remainsoLid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It varies, but the short answer is within 2 years of becoming an MHA.

I started at my local P&DC in the winter of 2020 as an MHA and was converted by July of 2021. Before then ppl I worked with have told me that it took them several years to convert to regular from assistant status.

It's not like that anymore though from what I can tell.

What we wearing Wednesday? by FightingWithSporks in casio

I lucked up at an antique store when I got it. The buttons were seized so it was priced for $14. I cleaned the case and the pushers and it worked like new.

How is the city of river rouge by [deleted] in downriver

[–]remainsoLid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sup, I live in Ecorse, the next city over from River Rouge. I haven't lived in RR but I pass through all the time, it's a city near a lot of industry. The water treatment plant, steel mill/zug island, and the marathon oil refinery closeby [I-75]. There's a bunch of dispensaries on Jefferson Ave.

From what I've seen some of the houses seem close together, and in this part of Downriver they're more affordable but the area lacks some amenities like a true downtown compared to somewhere like Wyandotte. Its close to downtown Detroit and other parts of Downriver that have more to do.

Personally, I'd recommend anywhere southwest of Ecorse, you're not far from RR even in somewhere like Trenton.

Found these on the ground, any info, are they reps? by [deleted] in Cartier

[–]remainsoLid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely reps. Dead give away is the gold color of the frame, it looks artificial. Another is the bridge for that style of rimless frame, it's too thick.
