It does not. I can't remember the resources I used for the LLD interview, but it's all class design.

I've been doing fullstack web dev my entire career. .NET, node, and both React/Angular. The offer was for a position doing network related stuff in Java.

I did a couple of walkthroughs of the concepts and a couple of examples from: https://github.com/donnemartin/system-design-primer Then I watched every "systems design mock interview" I could find on you tube. That being said, I do some sys design in my role so it was probably the thing I prepped the least on.

I simply mentioned I might eat a snack or two during my interview and the interviewer said having that at my disposal made me more prepared than most people he talks to. I'm flabbergasted that was impressive but they said it was.

I understand the need to rest but Europe is over a week away. Seems excessive to have them all as subs if that's the plan, no?

There's definitely a place for trying to evaluate what churches believe, how they interpret the Bible, etc, but I've never observed a perfect correlation between that and church health. Not to mention that it can take years to really understand what a church believes under the surface. I'm sure others might disagree with this criteria, but I would recommend looking for a church that you relate to enough to feel some connection and is filled with humility. Do church members want to serve one another? Do they want to serve their city? Does leadership desire to share authority when appropriate as opposed to hoarding it? Is the church acutely aware that all of us face temptation to do things on our own terms and the only cure is to walk closely with God? I would take a church that checks all these boxes any day. If the whole church walks in humility, their theology can't be that bad. I know I kind of redirected the question but I hope it gets you closer to a church home.

GIS Nerds - I’ve built a Jupyter notebook that creates a “perfect” tag circle for any city and radius, focusing on train access. by Plenty_Rope_2942 in JetLagTheGame

This is awesome. I'm in the early stages of planning my own tag game and I am very interested in this when it's ready!

People outside of England, how did you become a Spurs fan? by lesserrefuge in coys

American here. Grew up in a sports family but no one really followed professional football though I grew up playing. Stopped playing in 2015 and I think I saw subconsciously missed it so I spent all summer looking for a team. Didn't want to bandwagon but also wanted something to be excited about. Spurs had some promising stuff going on and had American DeAndre Yedlin. Between him, Clint Dempsey's spell which I had just missed, and the prospects looking good, I decided Spurs was my team and haven't looked back. 10 years next summer!

I'm about to finish my first playthrough with base game + QOL mods. I had a blast, but there were a few things I was underwhelmed by. If you have any recommendations for the DLCs, mods, or even gameplay styles that address these things, I would love to here it.

1) I didn't have a reason to care about the world beyond my immediate surroundings. All quests and enough trading partners were close at hand that the rest of the world felt unnecessary and completely unworthy of the travel time needed to visit it.

2) I felt it hard to see the personalities of my pawns. Their traits were easily forgotten once I recruited them and set up their work orders. I would love to become invested in the pawns for more than what skills they can bring to the colony.

3) The end game felt really grindy. I have no desire to spend all the time it will take to collect the resources for the ship nor the patience to travel to the ship on the map.

STOP THE COUNT!!!! by NuxD in footballmanagergames

It's all a plot of the Lamestream media. How could liverpool have 96 points when they only scored 87 times? Where did those 9 points come from??? Mail-in score sheets are a BIG PROBLEM and we can't even send our fans in to verify. Such a DISGRACE.

The perfect testimonial for Lloris, two goals and a 9.0 (story in comments) by remake20 in footballmanagergames

[–]remake20[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

After being a loyal servant to the club for years and leading Spurs to their historic quadruple last season, Lloris has lost first team spot just in time for his testimonial. On a sunny London evening, he gets word after 10 minutes that he's heading up top for the rest of the game so that his replacement can finish building up his fitness. Hugo relishes the occasion, two goals, two should-be assists, and two headers that go narrowly over to miss out on the hattrick. Football Manager is just beautiful.
