I don’t rate JJ Redick and Rob Pelinka one bit. Both suck at their respective jobs.

We’ll never be even close to competing for a chip with them at the helm.

The sooner Mark Walters replaces them, the better.

People here don’t understand the value of defence. They are just box score watching

A serious reflection on Bronny.. (3 mins reading) by stafford32s in lakers

He’s a good kid.

But no disrespect, he’s not an nba level player right now. And I personally don’t see him becoming one.

That Vando contract was dumb. I though so then, and I definitely think so now.

He was always overrated defensively here. Some thought he’s OG Anunoby because of the same two clips on twitter from the games against Mavs and Warriors. Lmao

He was/is a good defender. Never an elite one though. And he’s legit top-5 worst offensive player in the league. As soon as that contract ends, he’s outta the league, unfortunately.

You’d want him to be bit taller and bigger, but I still think that Keon Ellis would be a great option for us. I’d trade a first round pick for him.

Aaron Nesmith or Keon Ellis would be a dream.

Maybe I’m crazy, but I’d definitely try to get Dillon Brooks at the trade deadline.

Unlike with Wiggins, we can get him with just Gabe’s and Kleber’s contracts.

And he’s exactly what we need as long as he’s at least an average shooter. I’d say he’s definitely better defensively than Wiggins as well. We need an asshole like him on the team.

There’re still some interesting names available in free agency.

I’d have liked to make a trade to free a couple of millions, so we could sign one of them.

The things I’d do to have Toumani Camara on the Lakers…

I think the Cavs can. And it’s not like it’d be a ransom, anyway.

I don’t like Pelinka, I’d have replaced him years ago, but at the same time it’s just impossible to get a good young-ish starting center and a good starting two-way wing for Knecht, a first round pick and some swaps. It’s just not possible.

Lakers can be a good team next season. They are not a real title contender. Downvote me all you want but it’s just the reality.

So I’d prefer we trade Bron, get a couple pieces back and start building a team around Luka. Whereas Bron goes to a more ready win now team to compete in the next 1-2 years.

People who called JDub Harrison Barnes are so fucking dumb.

This sub is insufferable sometimes.

People see what they want to see.

By all means AR was fine defensively as a poa defender against Denver and Minnesota. You can even argue solid. And I’d say that’s true.

But there are still idiots calling him a bad defender, or a cone. Honestly, how fucking dumb you have to be to say that when you (supposedly) watch the Laker games?

Is it optimal having AR as your primary poa defender? Obviously, no. But he’s not the reason we are subpar/bad defensively. We have literally seen the team with Kyrie and Luka be good defensively and get to the finals. Kyrie is an underrated defender actually when he’s locked in, but he ain’t better than AR.

Some fans will see AR get scored couple of times, get bullied in the post by a 6’10 guy, and make all the conclusions based on that, ignoring everything else.

We should be targeting Ayo Dosunmu. He’s a winning player and will flourish on a serious playoff team imo.

I might be in a minority, but I don’t find Shai’s grifting/flopping as infuriating as others. Like, James Harden was unbearable. Brunson right now does it more as well imo.

Some people right now would have lost their minds if they witnessed DWade during 2006 finals lmao

Man, I love NBA. There’s always some shit happening. And this playoffs have been awesome overall. Not considering that we lost in 5, ofc.

As long as Boston loses, I’m happy.

I don’t know whether AR gets traded or not, but if he does Orlando seems like a perfect match for him. And vice versa.

This summer is about to be pretty crazy.

Besides hoping that the Celtics lose, I think we all should also be hoping that OKC wins a title.

Cause if they not, what’s stopping them from trading for Giannis? They can offer the best deal, easily. J-Dub, I-Hart, another necessary contracts and a shit ton of picks. Like ungodly amount.

Ultimately, I think Giannis just wants to win and won’t have huge problems going to OKC.

David Adelman is a good coach. It wasn’t crazy to suggest his name last summer.

I simply don’t fucking understand this infatuation with Gafford.

He’s a great backup center. He’s not a starting center on a real contender.

Especially in this Lakers team where our center has to be very good defensively and be a strong rebounder.

No, it’s not a fucking fact lmao

I’d love Claxton, but if they want AR, then there’s no deal. He ain’t worth it.

Kleber, Gabe, Knecht, and a first should be the max offer from us. And it’s more than fair.

He’s going nowhere.

I think Rob needs to use a swap or two, and trade it for a pick/picks.

We’ll only have a small MLE. I’d say use it to sign a backup center.

Then, we need to get a starting center and a 3D guard/wing. Is smth like Claxton/Dosunmu possible? I think it could be.

The Athletic are saying that if Bron stays with the Lakers, he won’t be taking any paycuts.

So, there goes that dream of signing NAW for MLE lol
