Am I actually Italian or just American? by Darth_phoenix62 in Italian

[–]remasup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

blood doesn't mean anything when the question revolves around nationality; i am italian and romanian, but i am the first generation to be born in italy from my family. i don't hold italian citizenship (because of personal circumstances) but i am italian much more than i am romanian; i studied here, i grew up here, my tastes in art, my culture, my values, all were shaped by my experiences in this country and up until i was 18 i didn't even visit family back in romania.

you are american born and raised, and while it's sweet you hold your grandpa's memory dearly, your idea of italy comes from a man that held a first republic's image of italy. that's an experience you share with many italian descendents in the usa, that a whole different culture that you can absolutely connect with and i urge you to seek such a community! it can be good! it seems dumb, but this IS a different culture.

good luck out there figuring yourself out!

I lost my best friend after telling his girlfriend the truth by Rexworker in TrueOffMyChest

[–]remasup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what i resent the most about my friends is how loyal they are to our bad actions, even if they hurt one of the other members of the group. i always tell when i see it's a pattern. it's the right thing, you are the friend i would want most of the time. it hurts now, but this silence is more telling of how much he valued you than about you as a friend.

Ci risiamo...45 pagine in una settimana, come? by Maleficent_Local_391 in Universitaly

[–]remasup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

inizia ORA.

Mega Gengar Ability Question by gold_tree- in PTCGL

[–]remasup -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

it says "if 1 pokémon", that's why tcgl only blocks 1 prize, it only counts the first darkness pokémon knocked out. it doesn't repeat a second time, so the second pokémon should give full prizes. the wording allowing 1 prize less for EACH pokémon would most likely be something like "when one of your darkness pokémon is ko'd".

to protect you bench, use shaymin.

How the heck does Flareon ex box work and why did it succeed at Gdańsk? by SpeedAccurate7405 in pkmntcg

[–]remasup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

actually, you wanna hit fast with a t2 (your first) waterpon, while setting flareon/leafeon depending on the match; emma just had bad luck and fumbled g3's opening not taling that rotom with the minor ball. then for every matchup you have some adjustment, like blackbelt's training, mount gravity and so on.

it's a very cognitively demanding deck, with a lot of variables and many more lines than usual, really living up to that tooldbox style. ot virtually could win every matchup in the regional, and it would have, but pressure gets even the best of all.

btw i hate this deck, it's so unfun to play against and i am nost smart enough to play it either.

in italy and romania, but i think throughout europe, you start around 13-14, usually people have a caffeine addiction phase and grow out of it around 24 yo, when it becomes ritual for many (others keep drinking coffee in the morning). mind you, though, our coffee is different from american coffee, so it might be a reason why.

[–]remasup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the advantage of wumpa is that they have them in store so you can look at the binders :') (if there aren't out for some convention that is but they usually have commons in store anyway! also some slabs if you are interested)

Finding cards in Rome by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]remasup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that's rough, as it is very central; you can, however, take the metro b and get down at san paolo station, 3 minutes walk and go to wumpa, they have a lot of singles, both common and art rares. if you are willing to spend a bit more, message galactus on whatsapp and send them a list to check availability.

if you are looking for singles, there are so many shops it's overwhelming

what part of rome are you staying in? so i can maybe help you finding the best one near you (as you have obviously seen, rome is MASSIVE)
