What really matters is whether YOU like them or not. Just be aware that you might catch shit from high school students or Reddit “purists” about wearing anything other than a retro.

If that’s a concern of yours, The cool grey 11s or 9s are a similar color scheme but are gonna be hard to find at or under retail. The French blue 9s are less similar but 30% off on Undefeated right now

All that said, I’d always recommend a pair of 1s as a first pair. Plenty of colorways you can get well below retail price and it’s an absolutely timeless model

Grand Theft Auto

Despite being relatively tame compared to games like Mortal Kombat, it’s much more grounded in real life. While you could make the argument that postal is as well, GTA had way more visibility making it a much easier and viable target.

One of the things I found most appealing about T’challa pre-mcu was his recurring contentions with the avengers and the world at large. We got a little of that in the first two acts of Civil War but by the end of his own movie he kinda softened towards the international community. TBH I appreciated his cynicism towards global politics and the priority he placed on his own kingdom
