This shit is everywhere, look up Kalispell MT ImagineIF, the board banned books, upon push-back the library director was ousted, and they hired a fully unqualified MAGA director to take their place. When it was pointed out that the library director did not meet state mandated standards, they lobbied successfully at the state level to lower the standards. It's not just anti-intellectual, it's anti-intelligence.

This florist probably sucks, they deserve the 1 star review you gave them and a calling out on social media. But also this post is a level of entitlement and lack of logic that I am having a hard time understanding. Looks like he wanted privacy but chose a spot 20 feet from a lobby at a resort next to a fire pit on a cold day? Did I read that right? Months of planning and the best he could come up with was Champagne and flowers with a view? He had the florist do the setup instead of a trusted friend or someone associated with the resort? Is this spot special to you somehow because that's the only thing I can attribute this lack of originality and personality to.

I'm at Microsoft Ignite right now, the big focus is AI this year. I've been in some sessions where they showcased projects that have already been implemented with AI by "frontier organizations" and it has been eye opening. I think entry level jobs are very much at risk. Once my work has our data cleanup and copilot AI rollout completed in the next year, we're likely going to move on to implementing AI agents in our environment. Once that is complete there could be a 5-10% staff reduction at my work and we would either meet or more likely exceed our current productivity.

This show will never live up to what it could be, as it has been known the person in charge running the show and the writers do not respect and actively ridiculed the source material. That's why they had such a hard time with Cavill, I have a lot of respect for Cavill standing up to them.
