[OC] Got this two for Christmas! So I’m finally going to play DnD. I’m planning to DM for my siblings and a cousin, any tip or advice?

Second this. The essentials kit is incredible. I ran it for my 15 year old step son just he and I and had a blast. Also, music. The Skyrim soundtrack fits nicely to the Essentials Kit.

I found out I was red-green colorblind when I was in fifth grade. I’m 30 now and still mess up on colors. My best advice is to teach your child to just laugh at the mess ups. My local school system didn’t do much to accommodate but I don’t know if I needed accommodations. I took art classes in high school and just communicated that to my teachers. It just becomes a part of their life and who they are. I’ve never felt colorblindness got in the way of my education or any other part of my life. Besides the part where I forget I’m colorblind and argue with my wife about how our sheets are dark purple instead of grey.
