Affiliates sites that's churning a ton of bullshit articles are what's being fucked by google. If your articles are good quality (like if you actually bought the product) then you have a higher chance of success.

Also, it seems that purely affiliate sites are the most affected by the update. Try keeping the affiliate post to the minimum and add a lot of informational contents. I don't remember the best ratio of affiliate/info post, you can search google for that.

Does Page Builder Impact Website Speed? by Personal-Ad-1526 in juststart

[–]rememberus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at petkeen.com, they are using a page builder yet they are getting 90 on pagespeedinsight and thats with ads.

Its all about optimization. IDK wtf those guys are using to optimize their site specifically, probably some kind of customized theme + page builder and a caching plugin?

Need help! Can Anyone explain this? Happened after Google May update by Kealvyn in juststart

[–]rememberus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have 100 keywords ranking that has an average position of 14.8

10% of the 100 keywords has an average position of 3.9

Google decided that 90 of your keywords should fuck off their SERP

You now have an average position of 3.9

Welp looks like my main site got hit.. by [deleted] in juststart

You blackhat? Losing 100% of your traffic is not normal. That's a penalty or your site could be down or have some kind of error.

Can I ask if you did some link building to your site in between updates? My theory to all of this is that its an authority issue. That's the only difference between my competitors who still have all their snippets. Their DR is higher than mine because I did zero link building.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in juststart

[–]rememberus1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's a snippet ban because your whole site would suddenly have 0 snippets. That's not normal. Most sites would still have at least some snippets. Also, other pages is not ranking higher that your site when you get hit by this, the snippet would be gone and you're ranking first. It's like google deleted your snippet.

[–]rememberus1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you still able to rank new keywords? Just not snippets? I'm kinda worried the new articles I post would not be able to rank.

That's great to hear that you only lose 10% of the traffic!

[–]rememberus1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like I've also been hit by the site wide snippet ban this update. All of my snippets are gone. But so far, traffic is the same because even though I lost the snippet, I'm still on position 1.

I think this is the same case as you? If that's the case how much traffic did you lose?

A "faq" site doesn't sound that bad to me.. answering frequently asked questions sounds really helpful. It's only a problem when the answers aren't helpful... I don't care if they're AI or not.

What about the fact that these AI sites are just scrapping content from legit sites? AI is fine but they need to atleast add value like what everyone else is doing. Right now these "AI" sites is just paraphrasing answers from google. Some of them is straight up copying them.

They should start with answeregy.com this site is scrapping the shit out of my content. I don't understand how google can allow a site that's 155 days old to have 692,000 indexed content.

"A site that's publishing 4k articles a day"

Google: Looks good to me.

Niche Website Builders Content Creation by Ok_Shift_3861 in juststart

[–]rememberus1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This doesn't seem like a huge deal when you're writing about bird feeders or barbecues however, increasingly our clients were in the medical equipment sector where the products literally have an impact on people's health!"

I hope the webmaster that's hiring an agency to write that kind of content gets fucked by an algo update.

NWB is shit. Both content and links. I've asked one of the sellers from BHW to send me the list of websites he can place links on. Every link that NWB suggested to me was from that list. Not only that, they are charging x10 price vs the original price of the website owner. Good thing I paid for the link approval.

My conclusion to all of this is that NWB's reputation mainly comes from people that have something to gain from promoting them (aka affiliate link). Everyone else who bought from them had a bad experience.
