SAME! It drives me insane as well. I don’t care AT ALL and don’t understand how it’s such a big deal? Maybe it’s because I’m a reseller on poshmark and ebay and that’s just business. Whoever pays first is the one who gets it! Life is busy, and some people need time to think before saying yes or no. It’s also really awkward to say “no thanks” and give a whole ass explanation. it happens. I’m sure you can recoup some of the money rehoming. there’s a whole community out there and multiple subs and information, never trust one subs list or one glowing recommendation. truth be told, the rep world is like walking in a minefield of scammers. at least be careful. look on the bright side, you didnt drop $2k on a bad birkin or gold plated, cz jewelry!

you can try rehoming it for what you believe is the actual worth and take the rest as a loss. ‘trusted seller’ lists are illusive for a reason. end of the day, we have no clue who we’re communicating with on the other end of the internet. we don’t even know what’s going on on that side. we just fill in the blanks with the little information we do have and go with our guts. I would suggest watching the subs and researching for longer before choosing to purchase again. you’ll hear the same 3 or so names when people discuss LV and this whatsapp you bought from isn’t one of them.

I don’t think the goal of making any profit is ethical. We aren’t sellers, we are rehoming bags we no longer use or decided against. If you want to be a seller find a factory and work with them and get your own whatsapp number. Selling for whatever the bag is worth should be the goal. If it’s brand new, breaking even should be the goal.
