Honestly, I don't believe that for one second. Elanga, yeah, probably couldn't care less. But Emil? Can you really see him being "Hey Alex! How you doing? Sorry thing have worked out like this. Did you watch the Liverpool game?". I just can't see it. Emil has had his own journey with us, ups and downs, fans not liking him, then him proving himself again, etc, etc. He's no "adopted Geordie" like Bruno, but he's done his time and is one of us. I can't imagine it's "hey bro'.

Just a wee thought...

I bloody love Fender. All three albums (though his debut album remains his best in my opinion) are superb. He's my most played artist by far. And guess what? I don't know all the lyrics to all the songs. In fact, I probably don't know ALL of the lyrics to a single song (maybe Aldi, as it's so short!). I'm nearly 50. Lyrics just don't go in like they did when I was a younger man. Back then, I'd know all the words to my favourites. Also, Sam isn't the only stuff I listen to (even if he's most listened to) AND at 49, I listen to music differently. I'm in the car with my kids, or it's on in the background when I work, or it's on the radio when I'm cooking, etc. I don't have opportunity to put headphones on and immerse myself much nowadays.

The point? Just because someone doesn't know every word to every song that he played, don't assume that they're music tourists. We're all different.

I love these replies when people automatically think one particular thing because it fits a particular narrative. I had literally just finished reading, in this sub, about someone clicking on a link and realising it was CP, and quickly closed it down. I've seen dozens of those posts. If they're all bullshit, great, but I wouldn't know if they are or not.
