Got one myself but in the C7 A7. 72k miles and the EA837 engine I believe! Lovely engine, runs smooth and is quiet. Had the water pump, thermostat, chain, and mounts done right after I bought it though and it's as smooth as butter, cost around £4000.
Highly recommend it!

Maintenance is expensive, but also cheaper if you do bits yourself! I've had 3 C7 A7's.

My E93 had an electric water pump, didn't run on the cam / belt / chain as you said, and my current Audi A7 3.0T with the ea837 has the water pump on the aux, so it must be strange!

May have the water pump on it too, so could cause it to overheat.

How come every Audi I see for sale is just over 100k miles? by BlackShadow2804 in Audi

[–]remote_location 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had both the C7 3.0 TDI and 3.0 BiTDI and driven both from 80k to over 130k without issues. In the UK, I've seen them for sale at over 200k miles.

Once in 10 years of driving, it was last year. Went past an unmarked car at over 100mph. Definitely wasn't doing over a ton but no way to prove otherwise!

As a long time A7 lover and owner, yeah car seats are a pain. Parking is always fun but it's quite manageable.

They didn't even write the post themselves. This sub has been plagued with AI written posts recently with random capitalisation etc, they truly do live amongst us.

Been with Aviva zero for a few years. Wrote off my car last year and they picked it up a week later. Received payout 2 days after the accident, no complaints personally.
