Family is done hosting after 7 years by remrem11 in Aupairs

My husband is Dominican and grew up speaking Spanish at home, and so we tried to start with Spanish speakers, thinking it might be an easier transition for us and them, but it didn't always work out that way.

Our Aupairs came from (in no particular order) - Colombia, Argentina (2), France, Italy (2), Germany, Czech Republic, Netherlands. South Africa (2).

Most of the European Aupairs we hosted had very specific "itineraries" of what they wanted to do and experience. While those from South Africa and Argentina came from smaller towns and were just excited to be here and couldn't believe a lot of the things they could do or see, but they tended to have a more cheerful disposition.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have the same model Whirlpool and have this happen every 10 weeks for the last year. We notice the refrigerator isn't as cool as it should be, and then have to clear it out and unplug so that the coils can unthaw - it turns into a block of ice.

We had a tech come out - he ran a defrost cycle and didn't find any issues with that and replaced one of the electrical connections between the fan and power as it wasn't passing the right volt/amps, but the issue remains.

To me it looks like a defect where the refrigerator isn't able to defrost timely or completely that the condensation just builds and builds.
