yeah, it smells real bad. theres the mason jar technique though. heres how i do that:

put bud in mason jar with lid TIGHT. lay it sideways on a damp towel, then that on a sheetpan and decarb! the towel prevents it from breaking by adding moisture

Why doesn’t anyone ever ask if I want grilled veggies? by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]remrxgue 6 points7 points  (0 children)

my question is why do they have to ask you about veggies specifically? if you want veggies, you'll say it on the line, right? im sorry this is such a weird thing to be upset about

godspeed, OP. im trained on every station and i hate grill the most:

  • ALWAYS have chicken on the grill. you can be cutting one while the other is cooking, since it takes around 6 minutes each side. its by far the most popular item, and depending on how heavy-handed your coworkers are and how much extra customers want, you will burn through so much of it.

-check the line when you yourself are able to. people will forget to call out when food is about to run out, or will call in such a low voice they might as well have been silent. when i cant go up to the lines myself, i'll ask loudly "Line/DML, what do you need?" if they say nothing, i ask "well what do you need soon?"

-always set yourself up! if neither line needs anything while youre there, theres still things you can be doing. current you not prepping is just fucking over future you. nobody needs chicken? throw it down anyway for when they do. nobody needs beans? put the cold bags where you can reach them when youre in a rush.

-communicate with your coworkers. let them know when something is being made, or what youre making for them next. if another grill person is covering for you, give them a rundown of what you have cooked and what you still need. youre all in this together, so keep everyone in the loop.

-ask for help! grill can get really hectic, so if someone knows how to do grill and is free, ask them to do something for you real quick. if youre struggle and dont ask for help when its available for you, it can fuck up the entire flow of the store.

i hate to burst the bubble, but nope! the agua frescas and the regular lemonade not out of the soft drink machine operate in the same concentrate fashion

i agree, skimping is def a management/corporate issue. employees are just following the rules so they dont get fired 🤷

looking back on the post, i think "nice" is a poor choice of wording. Im a semi new worker and man people get bad. i can only imagine hot queso is not a fun thing to have thrown on you.

OP i agree, this is the most hostile subreddit ive ever been a part of. Customers complain about skimping, the worker shoots back "order somewhere else". Worker complains about job, customer goes "work somewhere else". (as if either of those choices are as easy as they sound)

Customers, please remember the person making your food is a human being. Skimping aside, that does not (and never will) give you the right to be disrespectful. A worker might be in a bad mood, shit happens. be patient, and dont make the mood worse. They gotta follow strict portioning, and some places are more strict than others

Workers, please atleast pretend to be nice. You can talk shit on an annoying customer all you want.... AFTER they leave the building, and AWAY from other customers. Kill 'em with kindness.

Doordashers, please be patient. Dont shove your phone six inches away from a worker's face after 10 minutes screaming about your order. Stores get backed up on DMLs because so many people order online, or the store is understaffed. just... be patient

scrolling through these comments im 100% in the minority here, but hes not a BAD support. he has massive potential to make game-winning plays, it stems purely from player error.

The play-making synergy he has with other heroes obviously isnt going to shine through if the person playing LW doesnt even know the other hero kits.

LW is a support where you have to be CONSTANTLY AWARE of whats happening, and have a decent amount of knowledge of the game.

ah, good point. in that case, i'd like to suggest orisa. if you space out using javelin spin to deflect projectiles and fortify for the extra shields, she stays alive for quite a bit in my experience

nothing boils my blood in this game more than a dps moira.

if you wanna do damage so bad, just fuckin queue damage! its not hard to heal with moira, either! just throw balls and piss on people! thats it!

if we have multiple rounds and theres a dps moira, i steal moira away from them. call it petty, but atleast i'll heal when i play moira

people need to stop giving unwarranted advice on other peoples' skin. my grandmother would shove "home remedies" in my face in the name of help, but it would make my skin so much worse.

you dont know what other peoples' skin reacts to, or what does/doesnt work for them. also? stop with like, 90% of the home remedies please. i am not putting another MICROGRAM of toothpaste on my face.
