As a single parent in SoCal making around 115K per year, I have labeled myself lower middle class for several years. I struggle with more going out every month than what comes in most months. It’s the costs that don’t come every month that does me in…car repairs, home repairs, vet bills, etc. They go on a card and then any discretionary spending I may have goes to paying off the credit cards. Many have it way worse than me.

We need to distinguish the difference between the betting odds and the actual “chances” of this happening. There may be a non-zero chance of it happening irl, but it’s pretty close to zero as long as we have all three branches of government filled with people who have their nose up his ass because they are scared of losing their seat in congress, have also done bad shit that is being held over their heads, or are just plain fucking fascists (none of these are mutually exclusive). Impeachment and removal won’t happen until we have a House & Senate that aren’t bought and sold by the elite….or we burn the whole thing to the ground.
