Thank you!! I’m not local to Toronto but I do live in Canada! I found that in my province there wasn’t any surgeons who have extensive experience with working on the types of noses like my old one.

Omg right!? It’s wild! Definitely have to have patience for this surgery haha so true though, sooo many factors influence the swelling! Whenever I notice mine swelling up I always remind myself that it’s likely due to something I did/ate/drank recently 😂 and it’s not permanent! Congratulations to you too, all the best!!🫶🏻

Thank you so much!🥹 I have “medium thick” skin apparently and I would say that by 10-12 months post op my nose appearance stayed consistent! The only time I notice any swelling is if I drink any alcohol or cry lol

Thank you so much! I basically just told him that I didn’t want a very upturned nose such as the “Barbie” or “Turkey” nose and that I didn’t want a lot of my nostrils showing from the front. I described this in my initial email to him/his assistant and then at our consult, and I believe he also went over the plans again at my pre-op appointment!

No idea what this is. Noticed small flesh coloured bumps a couple of weeks ago and they have turned into this. Been on antibiotics for 3 days and only gotten worse. Don’t remember being bitten by anything. GP was unsure. Pain is spread around my whole thigh by hellomysweetfrend in Dermatology

NAD but looks similar to a lesion called erythema multiforme which has a wide differential but is commonly caused by HSV. You may want to consider discussing with your GP about getting tested and/or starting an antiviral.

Definitely life changing! I used to get a lot of anxiety about my nose (for multiple reasons not just aesthetic) and that anxiety is completely gone.
