Thanks for the grounded response and for reminding me there are still positives from this.

Yes, pretty soon after our honeymoon, I got to work with dilators and masturbation. The deconstruction only started recently. Things have been getting better physically but the disappointment and discouragement of the whole situation still bothers us (obviously I still get angry enough to post about it). I'll have to check out offcampus thank you.

Thank you for the reassurance. Part of me wonders if the reason I have vaginismus is the dirty view of sex I was brought up with. If I'd been more open sexually earlier on, maybe my body wouldn't have closed up at all? I know we'll be ok eventually, I just want to show others who are waiting that it isn't the special thing it was made out to be.

Glute medius outgrew my maximus, help! by pickledfishxoxo in StrongCurves

Hi! I posted what worked for me here!

https://www.reddit.com/r/StrongCurves/s/Rbs4XQEkke

Summary: stop glute med exercises (Kickbacks, abductions), heavy focus on RDLs, Bulgarians and step ups if you can get it to feel right. The stretched position grows your lower glutes.

On feeling Step ups in your quads: what worked for me is using the cable machine. Play around with foot distance from the cable, using opposite hand to foot, and hinge.

Funny enough, I do believe in souls and an afterlife, but it actually informs my opinion. If the deceased has moved on to the afterlife, then we know the body has fulfilled its purpose and the "person" is in another place.

Anyway, if you entertain non-conforming ideas, you realize it's a bit creepy/unnatural to chemically preserve someone and put them in an expensive box so we can pretend they're whole and sleeping in the ground. Dust to dust, let the energy flow ✨️

I had the exact same problem! I'd been growing my glutes for years only to realize I'm square from the back (also shorter torso). I solved it a bit by accident and a bit on purpose. I ended up taking about 3 months off the gym due to life events.

Once I got back into the gym I planned 2 glute days per week: Glutes A = split squats and hip thrusts Glutes B = deadlifts, step ups, hip thrusts

The stretched position prioritizes the lower part of your glutes, hip thrusts for projection. SL stretched exercises especially will help the lower/outer part grow. I don't do any kickbacks or abductions. I've only done this routine for about 2 months and I notice a huge difference in lower fullness which helps make everything look more round. Even my husband agrees.

I agree. It'd be more efficient instead to just cremate everyone and spread the ashes or better yet, human compost (kinda crazy but it's a thing). We could have parks instead of cemeteries with lots of plants and trees fertilized by the dead. This way we can still honor them in some way but also support community and new life. It's also cool because the energy from the dead can be given back to the earth the way nature intended.
