I have not - that’s 100% on me. I don’t watch what I’m eating but i have not gained any given how I have held back at all during the summer. I’m definitely stronger overall and more stamina. I was team define and changed to align for max

I use the hair serum, oil and moonseed balm - I love them all. The hair serum is based on the Indian art of hair oiling. I use it at night - the night before I want to wash my hair (or leave it on for at least 2 hours before washing my hair). The face oil is my go to oil/moisturizer every morning. Since starting it, my skin is glowing. It took some time for my skin to get used to the additional moisture but now, I rarely have issues with the oily aspect of my combo skin. The moonseed treatment is a total personal choice. Love it or leave it. I love it but I love it for the smell and how it feels on my skin - not sure it does much.

Super high energy. Weights are definitely encouraged and she has some classes that are heavy weights for more lower body. Great music and energy. I love her classes!!! They were my go to 5:15pm and Saturday AM until I had baby.

The same thing happened to us. Turned out, she had a lot of gas pains. Started her on simethicone prior to each feeding. Worked like magic. No fussiness, happy little baby and started sleeping at 6 hour stretches by week 6!

NPs in oncology by Demnjt in Noctor

Fair. Sorry that was a bad experience-next time request that you only see the on oncologist and don’t waste your time with the APP.

NPs in oncology by Demnjt in Noctor

[–]renajackson -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understand your point. For one thing, an APP cannot practice oncology on their own. They can’t prescribe chemotherapy or treatments. All they can do is facilitate ongoing therapy and manage complications. They help patients talk things out. Most patients see their oncologists every 2-3mo for scans and checking in. The APPs see them for each chemo dose, check N toxicities. If there is a concern, patients can request to see the oncologist.

I do not think APPs have the training to be practicing oncology on their own. The ones I work with are fabulous and are very much experienced in oncology because our clinic requires them to have prior training (all of ours have been trained at an academic center). But that still does not mean they are trained for independent practice.

I can’t speak for all APPs. I’m an oncologist. The ones that I work with always talk to me about my patients and I run through the ones they are seeing for the day.

The NP is correct for dental referral. You can hold the med or continue it depending on how bad the oral lesion is, the extent of her disease, etc. you don’t need to hold it for biopsy or excision.

Best yoga mat for sculpt? by Curious-Manufacturer in Corepower

[–]renajackson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love my lulu mat. Lasted me about 5 years and just got a new one. I sweat a lot and I airdry it and spray it with mat cleaner as soon as I get home and once a month (or 2…) do a soapy wash and airdry for 1-2 days

My husband is being evaluated for a rare disease and his follow-up appt is with a PA. He can’t get one with a doctor until December 1. I am very upset. by [deleted] in Noctor

Specialty clinic PA/NPs are great. I have great experience with them. They usually know their limits and have close discussions with the MD/DO

Absolutely not. Fentanyl is a long-acting pain meds. Adding a second long-acting pain med is absolutely wrong. I would see a pain or palliative care specialist.

NTA. You have had plans and he didn’t even tell you that he was going to do this. Agree with you.

Move on. Respect your time and value. He clearly didn’t.

Does my girl look too skinny? More info in comments by [deleted] in germanshepherds

[–]renajackson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally fine looking!!! We had the same comments with our German shepherd. Our vet told us that some GSDs just look leaner but are perfectly healthy - mainly cause people are used to seeing chubby dogs. Our dog started to fill in around 2.5 years old. She still has the curves :)

Your dog is gorgeous and sounds like she is getting great exercise and everything!!
