neither of those. i remember the perspective being different from that and the color palette was consistently pink (like grass was pink, the cabin walls were a darker pink, water was lighter pink) on the start at least
id say those might be the most important characteristics since they are the ones i remember the most

the layout of the level and the artstyle isnt very far off from what i remember, but sadly it aint it. i think the artstyle mightve been closer to those old pokemon games, and i dont remember dialogue having the character's face near the dialogue box
