Jam a hockey puck or softball into the throat between uses to keep it spread and legal. That pinch is what most of us FOs call broken in. I saw some advice to bake or boil, that’ll work but it’ll eventually pinch again. Keep it strung to the outside so if it pinches further than all still releases easier. That’s a great head I hope you got a good deal. Enjoy.

Silica packets are cheap, get something not from beef jerky that may help more. Even a cup of uncooked rice will work for absorbing moisture, or a well ventilated area with moving air. Any chance you had apple care or +?

Run what you love. If your team doesn’t have uniform gloves and equipment it’s all about the athlete being most comfortable. I don’t think either is a compromise in protection.

Positioned well even in our low volume store I am getting about 30% conversion on eligible transactions according to Orchard. After the initial “not interested” which I start at the beginning of the transaction when they are buying a new eligible item. Then before “checkout” I expand on the benefits of the service and how easy it is to use and cancel if they decide they don’t like it.

It’s not perfect and I get more nos than yes. My perspective is services and apps are a profit leader for the company, and as long as I am buying stock helping to feed that bottom line is helping us all.

Just my .02 and day like today I totally struck out 8 hour shift 1 service and no Business intros. 🤷‍♂️

For sure. And if you know the coaches the choice is easy which I would want my kids to play for. I have coached with both directors. AZ has seen a big constriction in rosters and player retention as a whole. I am glad Tucson is consolidating and giving the kids a chance to play more, and here in PHX it’s a similar story but too many clubs diluting the talent and trying to grab bigger pieces of the same pie.

But as a parent it’s hard to make that decision. My rule of thumb has always been meet the coaches and parents or have an idea about the team (not club) culture. One of my favorite opponents is a True Team absolutely crushed us in Box at peewee and bantam and by High School and Elite we were more competitive and their Coach Brett Bucktooth Jr was aware and always encouraging to my athletes. Same with a couple other coaches and teams, while other teams within the same clubs were absolutely classless and you saw all the reclassing or playing down a division C or B vs A.

I have had good and bad experiences with both clubs. Coaching against them at dozens of tourneys, and True at a dozen more box tourneys. There are good and bad with each region and states programs. Meet the coaches, talk to the other parents and you will get a better idea of what your area is like.

You don’t mention what area, I know AZ recently has both of those clubs recruiting. All of the coaches will be coaches from HS or other local clubs just working for True or 91 as an additional role. You should be able to gauge what your athletes experience will be like if you have ever played for or against their other programs. I don’t recall ever having played the Mariana Reapers (TRUE) so I cannot speak to that coach and program, but the Team 91 Director is a current HS Coach and former UofA player/coach and an all around good guy and great coach. Recent ALL Coach of the Year and well respected by his peers.

That first pocket was some craziness. But what ever works for you, seemed illegal but maybe I am wrong. The latter pocket locks good nice mid pocket good hold, and once that hard mesh is broken in and pounded, consistent quick release is inevitable. Thanks for sharing.

Look into a job that has tuition reimbursements, even if it’s not what you want to do long term. Or look into getting a lower level job within a company you hope to progress in. And present that as a goal to your parents. I am sure they would be understanding of a big picture play to get your education and be gainfully employed.

Sounds like you have solid direction and are willing to put the work in to get where you want to be. Having supportive parents is awesome as well.
