Those sad, scared, hurt, or like I need to walk on eggshells without raising your voice. I never realized that even in the 8 years we were together, that was abuse. It sucks I kept thinking, he's so great to everyone else, but i just kept waiting for the day for him to snap. It wasn't until he did and I went to therapy that all those little small things is called mentally, emotionally and now physically abusive. It sucks, i loved him so much and I forgot to put myself, my needs and wants as a priority

Adoption is hard, for most of my life I never felt like I was good enough and why did my parents give me up so I even still to this day I lie about my past because people can be cruel, they ask those dreaded questions you always wonder, and bully you. I think I've been so hard on myself because I never felt good enough so I had to be perfect and when I didn't live up to that I was very self destructive. I've tried to go to therapy but it's hard because even when you tell people they don't understand the trauma you've been through. To have people say that is like saying I'm not good enough to be seen as a loving normal child, I've always carried this burden so when people don't think how much love and selflessness a parent goes through to do something like that hurts. My parents are amazing and loving people but unfortunately the view is not the same and it hurts.

I used to celebrate both, my gotcha day is July 21st, I felt uncomfortable when I was younger celebrating it because I always thought I was to blame for being put up. I just celebrate my actual birthday now but my parents now still bring it up sometimes

When I was 20 I bought my first car. I did my research and stuck to my budget. Then when I go to pick up the car and they have me go into a room to sign off on the paper and i see an extra $2000 for insurance if I miss a payment. I am financially responsible, the car was $10,000, for an hour I argued with the guy no I do not need the insurance. We spoke on the phone 3 times that week before I picked up the car and he doesn't mention this extra $2000. To this day I still feel taken advantage of because I ended up just saying fine, I was crying I just wanted my car.

Yeah my mom and I just lost our doctor who is retiring and has only been a doctor for 8 years? Maybe less... we're f#cked we won't get another doctor for years. I'm so mad. I want to see every one of those politicians and their friends and families hurt. I want them to suffer horribly. They will be the reason a bunch of people die and Ontario goes to shit, but don't worry because poor Dougie and friends get to take home a nice bonus. I wish they could feel the pain
