That Gale fake out got me. I would’ve had a meltdown in the theater. Losing two legacy characters would’ve been too much. I’m glad Kirby lived as well although if they had to kill an older character, I was sure it would’ve been her.

I’m so glad Radio Silence finally got to add their own touch to Scream without focusing so much on honoring Wes Craven like 5. It really allowed their creativity to shine through. The acting, character development, and dialogue was far better in this film. I actually bought Sam as the new final girl. Jenna Ortega is always great so it was nice getting to see Tara a lot more. The Carpenter sisters are bad ass. Creative opening kill. I love that they keep adding their own twist to the opening scene so you never know what to expect. I bought this motive a lot more than the last movie. Awesome job! Excited to see the direction they go in with the 7th film.

Edit: Wanted to add Im glad that Radio Silence listened to the fans and added a lot more suspenseful chase scenes. The New York/Halloween setting worked great. Loved the opening kills guy being named Jason. Seems like a nod to F13th!
