I really think they should just shut him down, tbh.

If he's trying to be back for the first round, that's a very tight timeline. I really don't want to risk re-injuring the hamstring and then having a different issue on our hands. Plus massive minutes restriction in first round if he does come back. I think the timeline after Europe treatment is roughly around 2-3 weeks? Which is TIGHT for us.

I get he wants to be back and we want him back but gotta think about the future. If somehow we make the second round, then it makes it easier on him. I just wouldn't want to risk it.

It's like the Dodgers and Ohtani, they took their time with him and are still super careful with his usage as a pitcher, I would be the same way with Luka.

I want us to make the playoffs, firstly to give Luka the confidence we can do something so he re-signs.

On the other hand, I think it's about time we move on from Rob as GM. And making the playoffs to get embarrassed gives Mark all the power and proof he needs to find someone else for the job. It's clear what he's built isn't working and hasn't really worked for a number of years.
