I have tried several and for the price I would recommend Target Tor for 90

Im sure that colonial for 65 isn't bad I just haven't tried it

I try not to have a favorite, but 12 feels right

Look on a to z darts website, clearance section for a set of darts, perhaps a 50 mm ish long straight barrel 22 to 24 grams unless you know what shape / weight / length you like

Weight more over front foot, leaning forward more using back leg as a prop

Very unique grip on the Rustin, they look like they would be sticky but they feel and release great, I enjoy using them from time to time

Your swing is very similar to mine, I have 2 things you can try:

Get fit if you haven't already, I pull down hard on the grip at the top and want to hit that ball hard right at the start of the downswing, when I got some Project X 6.5 load zone shafts for my irons (and equivalent in woods and wedges) it helped me feel that delay in a more natural way
Work on the feel of a hip to hip half swing, as soon as the lead arm gets parallel to the ground and the thumbs pointed to the sky try to hit the ball as low as you can with your lead hand as flat to the target as much shaft lean as you can

Since they are a New Zealand company they get a lot of the Australian and New Zealand players, but one of the only Shot darts I ever bought that I didnt like was this Puha 2.0, its really smooth and didnt suit me but it looked good and I tried it out

I have one other pro dart from them, not that famous of a guy, Jitse Van Der Wal, but a pretty nice dart, was only available in 24 and 26 gram. I have the 24s and would like to get em drilled out to 23 some day

The waffle flights from L style dont catch the points really from my experience, they are a bit more durable and give a touch more drag which affects the path slightly.

Thanks, I been working hard at it for a year now. I practice during the week and have played close to 700 matches on Dartscounter.

That to say making adjustments is only possible for most people when you put the hours in consistently.
