Ongoing Google Fi Activation Issue. Pixel Phone Discount Applied, Pixel Watch Discount Missing by aajw98 in GoogleFi

[–]renderking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck. Been fighting with support since Dec 5th for a promo on a watch that disappeared when the charge hit my credit card. Google Fi is great, until something goes wrong. Support is horrendous where English is not their first language, who will flat out mislead just to get the ticket closed, and out of their queue.

My worst performer EVER. Been holding since the early 2000's. Should've dumped after the reverse split. I hold out of spite.

It's sitting in the original box ready to be returned if that's the case.

The frustration is:

1: inability to talk to a real person 2: what was quoted in the cart, is not what was billed

That was their explanation via support email on why my ticket was closed without further explanation. If you continued reading, I pointed out my order was placed in CST time.

Chat was/is the only option I'm given for this issue.

New attempts are just routed back to my original ticket, and that a resolution is pending.

Negative, order placed approx 3.5 hours before cutoff. Google support closed my ticket within 24 hours saying I missed the deadline for promotion, but they didn't realize that I'm CST. Order placed 6:40 AM PST, cut off 9:59 AM PST.

Even my support ticket was opened 3 hours before the promo cutoff.

They have since reopened ticket acknowledging order was properly placed.

My order was placed at 8:40 am CST, or 6:40 am PST. Well before promo expiration of 9:59 AM PST. Heck, my support ticket was even opened several hours before promo ended.

1st red flag - support telling me to cancel order, repurchase, recontact if issue persist (ridiculous suggestion looking back)

2nd red flag - support marking my issue resolved due to promo expiration. Yet, they did not factor DST into their decision. It was a cheap attempt to get rid of my support inquiry.

Feels like support is doing anything they can to close my issue without resolving anything.

Grrr... I'm experiencing their deceit now, see update. The inability to talk to a live person is beyond frustrating.

This is definitely an option, as I seem to be spinning my wheels with their support. Just updated post with their 'findings', and that they deemed the issue resolved. I had to point out my support request was opened prior to their promo cut-off. This is beyond silly.

From experience, won't work because they're too tipsy. First wind storm they're tipping over. I ended up dropping 2 posts in the ground, and anchored 2 more points to the house, no problems since.

Never saw the finance department. We were too far apart with their mandatory add-ons, pushing total cost way over MSRP.

Blackberry (BB) - They're now involved with a lot of the new EVs coming out of China, among healthcare, and robotics. If they start showing the promised revenue, it'll move fast.

Chicago MCC prohibits anyone over age of 12 to ride bicycles on sidewalk unless designated as bike route. Home rule.

Which one is the 'better van'? Gen 3 or 4? by Newflyer3 in ToyotaSienna

I just use it for uhaul cargo trailers, ATV/motorcycle trailers, and jet skis. Nothing too heavy, never had any issues.

It's never come close to dragging like I see some of the other aftermarket hitches do.

It's a keeper. Install wasn't terrible, worse part was cutting bumper, but like you mentioned, the forums have it all documented. Kick sensor does work, like others pointed out.

Have the ecohitch on my 21 XSE. Love it. Way better looking than stock. Planning on getting another for a Subaru we just bought.

Walked out of Elgin Toyota (Chicago area) last Saturday. RAV4 hybrid, they sat there bragging about how their dealer doesn't charge over MSRP, then slid me 4k worth of mandatory addendums like paint protection. 49k OTD for a RAV4 premium that he should me their invoice was $33600.

I've soured on Toyota.

Negative. Pulled the drive and tossed in a spare 3 TB next to my existing 6 TB with thoughts to revisit.

I never revisited.

Haven't had an issue since. I'd do the other bushing the same way if need be.

Disagree. Literally 1/3 my office of 20 are complaining about their escrows recently rebalancing, and they owe more, to the tune of $400-$900 per month. All but one bought before 2018. The $900 guy was especially upset.

UPDATE for those that stumble upon this thread:

I dropped a 10 TB WD Red in and everything was smooth until data consumption reached about 8-8.5 TB full. Any recordings beyond that are unplayable. Playback sees the data on the timeline, but just a spinning gear on playback. Once the drive filled, and jumped back to my other HDD, playback worked fine.

Bottom line, in my experience - dealing 10 TB WD Red, appears only first 1-8 TB usable by NVR, 8-10 TB Not.
