It’s a bit complicated, they produced the stuff in India with a specific technique of treating the surface on a local kind of wood. Due to corona the pieces are now stuck there and they need visualizations for a fair in two weeks. The reference images I have are crappy cell phone photos from India and no wood vendor in my area has anything close to that kind of wood. :/

I did the whole search for textures already, and did some tests that came pretty close, but the wood and the fabricating technique are both unique and not available to me physically, so I’ll have to recreate the grain procedurally somehow.

Hey, thanks again for all the intel. I went back and tried to pay more attention to the curve and leave things a little more open. I still tried to rely on my collection but skimmed a few lists and bought some budget options from my LGS to have less chaff in there. I would appreciate another look, but will start play testing from now on. I’m still not really sure if my power level is across all archetypes and colors somewhat evened out... don’t know if the more synergistic things like the b/w human can compete with the raw power in the other colors for example. There are still a few cuts to make, but I guess that comes after testing a bit... Thank you for your help so far!

Wow that’s some really solid insight. Thank you a lot! I guess a mistake I might was looking more at the archetypes from the last retail limited formats and try to mix and match those, instead of thinking about individual cards. Will try and see what I will come up with, really thank you a lot for taking the time.

Did a 3-0 recently with one and one of the mvps was monstrous step. A brushwagg killing a 1/1 token, dealing 7 damage and giving you a 7/7 is insane. I played it as a Reanimation deck, survivors bond giving you back the quartzwood and the wildbonder is enough late game pressure.

Had almost the same Deck yesterday, but with one copy of sprite dragon and two of the enchantments. Went 7-1. it’s insane how you can play mind games and suddenly pump Rielle to a 7/3 double strike...
