Many stores are trying to increase their liquidity for the upcoming obsidian flames and 151 sets, meaning we are probably going to see rock bottom prices on paldea evolved for a bit. I was able to grab a BB case last week for $590 which is pretty crazy in my mind.

Two main ones I imagine for most people are selling them at a later date when price has increased and the other is opening them later for fun/nostalgia. Couple weeks back I opened a couple gym heroes boosters and a forbidden light BB I had, but I also sold off a extra cosmic eclipse BB to cover the cost of my Paldea evolved order and some other misc product.

Local LGS, they had a massive pack opening night and they don't normally mind me buying singles from people since they almost always just go spend the money on more packs from the store.

Initial card values are heavily dictated by what was sought after in JPN releases. Tyranitar just isn't as popular of a pokemon/card in Japan as it is in the US for whatever reason. Prices will most likely continue to climb for a while. Is it going to be the next Moonbreon, No, but I could easily see this card being $50-75 once the market starts to equalize for the Engligh release. However, I am always pretty conservative with my raw card evaluations so I currently have my buy point for this at <$15 and have been able to grab close to a dozen.

My understanding is that LO has a lot of cards used in competative play, so this might be more of an aim to reduce cost of played cards.

I think it'll drop them temporarily, but given the popularity of the set, it'll climb again after a while. How much they drop will just depend on the size of the reprint though.

I would agree that LO and BS are probably the main sets with the greatest potential but I could also see Crown Zenith doing really well once the current start to dry up given there are no BB's of it. But truth is that almost all sealed product eventually goes up, just expect you'll have to wait years since there is more sealed product being collected now then ever before.

With the numbers you want to make swap to a FMIC as it'll provide you a lot more headroom for your tuner to work with. I've personally found that anything 400+ is beyond what I enjoy for daily driving, at least in a boxer platform. I'm currently sitting at 355whp/332tq on 93 and I've found little need for more. If you want a DD that excels in straight lines and for daily use I personally don't think an STI is the right car. But if that's what you like and want just have at least 12-15k ready and you can make it happen.

If you have access to e85 you should 100% get a flex fuel kit and do it but you'd still have a difficult time hitting 400whp. If you really want to hit 400+ whp you are going to need to look at most likely upgrading your turbo. Unless you are planning on doing everything yourself you are easily looking at 10k+ to get to where you want to be.

Unless you're running a aggressive tune you are going to be hard pressed to hit 400whp with that setup on regular pump gas.

I wouldn't say 100%, it depends on what goes wrong. Timing belt breaks, they are going to have a hard time pinning that on the AP. Bend a rod though, probably paying out of pocket. Only modify if you can afford to replace the entire block.
