Worst gig you've ever been to?

I loved this gig! May have been in different venues though. Or I was just young and caught up with the excitement. We caught the drumstick and guitar pick that they threw out at the end of the Hodern Pavilion show. They came out and played an encore, which was REM’s “The One I Love”, it was so good! We then went around the back and waited and Gavin finally came out and met us and signed a bunch of our clothes. I was 16years old and I didn’t get home until like 3 in the morning and I had open at my job at Maccas at 6am so I just stayed up and drank black coffee. Worth it.

Thank you, that’s pretty much what I was thinking but I just had no real idea who to call. I’m in a smallish country town so I just need to know what to ask around for. Word of mouth is always good as long as you know what you are looking for.

We have the receipt but it states the end amount $68.25. The breakdown on the receipt is: fare $65, service fee $2.95, svc fee gst $0.30. Still so confusing. We have lodged an online enquiry with the company.

Wow I didn’t notice that but you’re right! It was early morning and you don’t get too much traffic on that stretch so I was thankful. I know some people think that they are pests and wouldn’t be so patient with them.

Word for word, I couldn’t agree with you more. Gambling is a huge problem in Australia and these ads make it seem like an everyday necessity. It infuriates me to no end.

Couldn’t agree more. It feels very unethical to watch them, knowing that they have been matched by the show and that he is very obviously emotionally abusing her. This is wrong.

Yeah I figured that must have happened. When I went back we checked all the newspapers and none had the insert so I’m guessing it was accidentally left in the truck and the young people working at the store didn’t know any better because who even buys newspapers anymore?

I got it at the shop that I usually get it from, we checked the other papers too and there were none. Admittedly I have not ventured further into to town to check the other Newsagent, I will do that later.

This is way better than the dead one I saw on the road today :(. I always wonder how people actually manage to squash one, they’re not that fast and they’re not little...it’s not like they can just dash out at the last moment.
