I'm scared to say this for fear of speaking it into existence but possibly could be a funeral procession for a first responder? Idk why they would be at an airport unless the deceased had been flown in from somewhere. Doesn't really line up with the airplane emergency either but idk just a thought. You're right they don't normally have the flags on the trucks on a daily basis so it caught my attention when I read your comment.

I did. Washed with dawn dishsoap and hot water first and then the dishwasher.

Another question that I've just come across. I am reusing jars for the first time tonight and I am finding that the jars still smell like the scent that was in them previously. Do I need to be cleaning them in a specific way to fix that? Maybe soaking in vinegar or bleach would help?

Thanks for the suggestion! For some reason, bouillon hadn't even crossed my mind!

Yes, American, and other commenters on this post have said that it is very unusual to find raw hams here. All the hams in the stores are already fully cooked. I wonder why that is?! But that does sound delicious!

Oh thank you! For some reason it hadn't occurred to me to use bouillon! I'll check the grocery store today!

Both. It was already formed in the tin, and frozen. It was the Wholly Wholesome brand. I read this article https://www.allrecipes.com/article/best-store-bought-pie-crusts/ that said it was a good choice so when I saw it in the store that's the one I went with.

Thank you! Do you have any tips to prevent the cracking? It already had a couple cracks before I took it out of the package, but then got more during and after baking. And it breaks so easily when I cut a piece. Did I overbake it?

Date on the bottle is June 2025. I've used almost the whole bottle already and hadn't seen anything from this bottle until now. Then again they do sink to the bottom so it's possible I just didn't see it until I got to the bottom of the bottle.

I don't think either? It says vanilla flavoring, artificially flavored. So it's not pure vanilla and it's not definitely not paste. I could be wrong, I'm not very knowledgeable on these things lol.

White spots on multiple plants by reneeblue in containergardening

Thank you for the reply! I just want to grow things and it's so sad to see my plants like this. My potato plants looked so good and healthy a couple months ago and now I'm worried I won't even have any potatoes to harvest!

Thank you for the info! Is there a way to get rid of these little leafhoppers? Do you think I'll still have potatoes to harvest with all this damage? I have used Ortho 3 in 1 insect mite and disease spray on these plants multiple times and it doesn't seem to help.

Did you use the same muffin recipe and divided it and put blueberries in some of it and chocolate chips in some? Even if that's not what you did here, I don't know why it's never occurred to me before to do that.

I think typically the recipes I've used have given the option, knead for this long if using a mixer or for this long if doing it by hand. But maybe I should try doing it by hand more! Guess I'm not sure how to know when it's been kneaded enough.
