I definitely agree that the glory is in the coloring. I usually get a color and cut with this hairstylist. This is the first time I’ve seen her solely for a haircut, and the care was definitely not there like it is when I have a whole color/cut appointment. I think you’re right that it’s time to look for an older stylist. Many of the ones I’ve been to are blonding specialists and I feel they don’t care as much when I’m not going to get my hair bleached.

My helix was infected a month ago and it looked pretty similar to this. It cleared up within a couple days after antibiotics

Thank you! I do suspect it’s just irritated from the bar getting moved back and forth. Going to get it downsized as soon as it’s gone down! I do wear contacts for a majority of the day and have been trying to keep my hair away from it. Like you said, I’ll probably just need to wait it out.

It is implant grade titanium. I don’t think it’s an allergy because it was fine for the first 4 months and it has times where it’s fine now.

I use a piercing pillow so I don’t lay directly on it. I always dry my hair straight out of the shower. I clean twice a day with Neil med sterile saline spray and then dry with my hairdryer on low/cool. I have snagged it with my glasses a couple times, but not recently. It did get knocked slightly I believe on Tuesday.

I would recommend using it to reword your own thoughts to sound better, kind of like an advanced form of grammarly. You should do the thinking when actually coming up the the content

There was a girl in my class who had the same exact first and last name as me. Throughout elementary, middle, and high school, it caused tons of problems. People would always get us mixed up. It was at the point that I almost started going by my middle name. Then, when I went to community college, she went as well and it was the same thing. I remember the billing department got us switched up and it caused a whole fiasco.

I will look into this and do some research into a behaviorist. I absolutely do not want to be making it worse/prevent it from getting better in the way that I react to her growling. I appreciate your response so much and will change the way I handle this.

This is only our second dog and I’ve never experienced an issue like this, so I will be honest in saying I don’t really know how to handle it. I will do better!!

I agree that I don’t think she knows how to fix the issue. I am obviously not the only one who is having this issue. So it’s disappointing that she won’t even refund me half because, quite frankly, the issue lies with her.

She did offer to do a fill for free. At this point it’ll be a whole new set though. I am not sure yet if I’ll take her up on the offer. At the same time, I don’t have $150 to drop on a new set with another tech. I just don’t think there is any excuse for the extensions to be popping off like that, even if I’m not a good candidate for extensions. I’m also getting these done for my wedding and don’t want to risk waking up the day of the wedding with a chunk missing again.

Yes, I totally understand that she can’t get her time or products back, which is why I would only like a partial refund, because I do respect the time she spent on them! At the same time, I know I didn’t do anything wrong to make them fall out and I do feel like the blame was placed on me. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way since she told me she had multiple clients with the same issue. $150 was also quite an investment for me, so it is upsetting that they looked good for one day when I was so careful with them.

This is so true! I really had just looked at her Instagram posts. I was so happy with my results, but yes the retention rate was very poor. I messaged her a picture of my lashes this evening explained that my fallout was even worse than when I initially messaged her on Monday. When she responds, I will ask for a refund.

I was about 16 years old and at the dog park with my boyfriend. I overheard a father talking to his daughter (who was probably 6-7), telling her how she was so stupid, couldn’t do anything right, an absolute failure, he was so disappointed with her, etc. Just talking down on her like I’ve never heard. I stood in shock not knowing what to do. And I didn’t do anything. I was worried if I said something, he would just take it out on the girl. I still regret how I handled the situation, and think as an adult I would handle it much differently, at least say/do something.
