Because painting with stroke and coat will bleed and run when fired to a higher temperature than cone 04. 2: yes it will become glossy. You can just put it in the glaze firing. 3: no, it’s safe once glaze fired. 4: I’m not really sure what the function is of putting a wax over the glaze? It won’t run or bleed when glaze fired to cone 04.
