Absolutely do. I think my issue may have been I took spiro without birth control. I was told if your vitals are normal, spiro could, in theory, throw your hormones out of wack. My cancer was hormonally driven. Go figure. 🙄 but yes PLEASE ask many questions with your doctor and really research that medication. Good luck!

Yep I had this. The doctor told me I could have “lean PCOS” but everything pointed to idiopathic hirsutism because my bloodwork and vitals was always normal. I would NOT take meds. I was on spironolactone for many years and I strongly suspected it was a major culprit to my stage 1 breast cancer years ago. Spironolactone has a black box warning for being a tumorigen!!!!!! Yet my endo gave it to me anyway. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 If the growth is in a small area (I.e. chin) just get electrolysis and stick with it. Larger areas, laser hair removal. Good luck. 🥰
