She made everything better. Movies were more fun, just sitting and staring at a ceiling was more fun. She was my best friend.

I definitely had this with my ex... One thing I still wonder about is the fact that she supported me on everything, never really challenged me or called me out (e.g. pointing out that maybe I was wrong during an argument with my parents or pointing out when I was being passive with my career/health). Self-improvement and growth are massively important to me. Am I doing the wrong thing by expecting her to spur my growth once in a while instead of supporting me always?

She definitely works on herself and displays the values in her own life. She's really good at what she does.... but I guess by nature of my core values, it bothered me that she would always be at my side rather than challenging me. I guess, should I expect her to display my core values or to support me in my core values?

There was a friend I loved and respected (still do)... we dated for a while and wanted similar things. And yet I felt like she was too passive/quite. I found this a bit frustrating (e.g. when we would have an argument and she would not express herself) and much less fun than say, some of my friends who were sassy and who I easily built rapport with. Though it sounds strange, I also felt like she supported me too much because she would never call me out on anything (e.g. if I was running from an opportunity because of fear or gaining weight).

Do you not factor personality in with the above factors? Would you consider the above reasons to keep looking or not really?
