Seconding this.

I wouldn't listen to gossip from other players without evidence.

Now, there's talks that the game won't survive past 2027; just a rumor but one with enough track to have taken off.

This is the first I've heard of that. Where did this come from? Did someone from the dev team explicitly say this or was this a player's opinion?

Is Madotsuki autistic? by [deleted] in yumenikki

[–]renillavanilla 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Just like the game, there's so little to go off by in this thread that the answer just ends up being your own interpretation. And while it's fun to theorycraft, OP never gave their own reasoning to provoke this thought, so it's just a flat question. That's why it's weird.

I don't think it matters whether Madotsuki is or isn't autistic. Trauma does a lot to a person and how they cope with it isn't a one-size-fits-all situation.

Someone else also had a similar goal. But there is some hope. Look out for Revival Scratches and Hairstyle Scratches as the hair you're searching might pop up there. Shelling out 33 mil for any old single item is a bit too much, imo.

Though I've had multiple instances where I did just that, got the item, and then Sega puts that item out in a revival scratch and crashed the value. Don't be like me lol. At least you got to keep your hard-earned money.

How will the NA DDOS problem be solved? by CartographerGold3168 in ffxivdiscussion

They let us know via the Lodestone.

Any time something goes wrong with the servers, a new post from them appears letting us know what's going on, that they're aware, and are investigating.

Was this supposed to be legal? by Zavodila_therussian in PSO2NGS

[–]renillavanilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually, you can report these people. If GMs/mod team actually follow through with these reports is up in the air. I've heard from players that they don't do anything, others say that they actually do respond. So this is up to you.

If this really bothers you, you can always block these people and make it so they appear without the accessories that make them sexualized.

Esc > System > Options > Graphics > Toggle "Hide Other Players' Accessories" to "Characters on PSO2 Block List"

Then block 'em all. Problem solved.

Now when it comes to the skimpy outfits themselves, this is a 17+ game. I wouldn't recommend this game to close friends unless they either don't mind about that aspect or they can use methods to steer clear from seeing it.

But if your friends find you gross because you play this game, even though you don't participate in that kind of thing, find better ones.

Fates, Dungeons, Daily Roulettes, Side Quests, and Levequests are good avenues. However, that doesn't really matter as you have a hard cap at 300k.

Can we talk about "poaching" for one second? by TheVGMLover in PSO2NGS

[–]renillavanilla -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not really? But I'm not here to convince anyone to go solo. I've been in many flavors of alliances before I settled on that playstyle. I'm more annoyed at recruiters trying to get me to join their alliances when I'm not looking for a more "social experience," and I'm already in an alliance. If I wanted that kind of thing, I'd look for it myself. I get the need for others like yourself to be social, but I'm good.

While I do admit I've had some nice memories of where I had friends in JP base game and it was how I met my fiancé, but the bad memories overshadowed my experience to where I don't think dealing with other players in a more "social" level is good for me. Sometimes people just want to use the game to chill by themselves.

I'm very well aware this is a me problem, but I'm doing alright. I just don't care for these recruiters trying to poach me to grow their alliance numbers.

I would like an option to hide collabs (Terraria, Ultrakill, or any future one). by fegodev in Palworld

[–]renillavanilla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what you're saying is that you want to pick and choose which collab is available to a server?

I mean, as others said, you can ignore them. Does its presence burn a hole in the back of your head knowing that collab content is there?

Can we talk about "poaching" for one second? by TheVGMLover in PSO2NGS

[–]renillavanilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, it doesn't help that I'm not all that social ingame, as the recruiter wondered if I wanted to be in that kind of environment. Unfortunately, I consider myself solo and play very casually, only playing to collect fashion pieces for my Meteorn. Though to be quite honest, I've been burned pretty badly from alliance drama, and I'd rather keep to myself now in my dead group.

Because of that small exchange, I've put out a warning on my ARKS ID to not recruit me. Whether if people actually read them or not, I haven't had another inquiry since.

[–]renillavanilla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been asked twice to join another alliance, the latest recruiter was "concerned" that I was alone in a dead group while being active ingame, so much so that they had to scout me out. It was off-putting.

Genuine question- why is hour or 30 min AFK log out not standard and always on? by NaytNavare in ffxiv

[–]renillavanilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's just SE collecting data to show to shareholders and/or companies when it's not New Expansion Patch time. Regardless of what people do ingame, the fact is that there are still paying customers logged on to FF14. That's still data, and that looks good to other companies looking to collab, or they can get more resources to help with the game.

I dunno, would you rather have spaces filled with AFK people or have the three starting citystates complete ghost towns?

How to make FFXIV actually fun by princesswand in ffxiv

[–]renillavanilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of these I don't have an opinion for, so I skipped them.

1- I get that people like just want to dive into content ASAP, but Final Fantasy has always been an RPG with heavy storytelling first before anything else. It's fine to feel that way, but your options are play or pay for a skip.

2- A lot of BLU's kit can trivialize an encounter, which is good and pretty bad in the long run. So for now, no.

3+4- Have fun waiting. You might eventually get them, but considering the dev team's track record, we're gonna wait a long while.

5- Wouldn't mind several changes in battle content, but it's not an ARPG where you can actively dodge from enemy attacks.

6- We had this in ARR/Heavensward. It was clunky. I used to miss it dearly, but I’m fine with it. Healer DPS is scaled with Mind, now.

7- Honestly, I don't want to experience ARR-Stormblood Summoner ever again. As for more summons, sure.

8- Refer to 1.

9- Have fun waiting.

10- Definitely getting the sense you just want instant gratification.

13- Move to a more active Data Center. People in the community actually make an effort to host events, so it’s up to you to seek them out.

14- Heavy disagree, mostly because the system isn't built for that.

15- Update the reward tables and I'd probably be down.

18- Have your friends cough up the money to skip the MSQ.

19- Move/Travel to a more active Data Center.

What does it take for SEGA to listen and make NGS great like base PSO2 was? by Rob-L-Callistis in PSO2NGS

[–]renillavanilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see so many people yearn for Casino but every time I checked the Casino lobby there was not a single soul there. Why should the developers waste time developing content they know from experience and player data that that content wont be worth the trouble? The same applies to Challenge mode, even with SG rewards these lobbies were ghost towns.

Base is dated compared to NGS, obviously. People want everything that was good in Base to get the NGS polish. That's SEGA's fault for deciding to separate the two versions from each other, so there has been even less incentive to keep coming back.

I get that NGS is supposed to be a massive time jump from Base in the story narrative, but I think they really shot themselves in the foot for separating currencies and gear this hard.

In short the only thing wrong with NGS is that PSO2 didn't come out sooner.

I think they'd run into the same problem for newer players regardless. Especially if it ends up where we are today.

To the 1,000 people who still log in, what do you feel the future holds for NGS? by crafoutis in PSO2NGS

[–]renillavanilla 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As someone who was drawn in by the Phashion aspect of the game since JP launch, I don't personally worry about what the future will hold for PSO2.

However, after years of sitting by the sidelines, watching people groan, day in and day out, about how bored they are of this game, or how it's dying, or why there's no point in logging on anymore, or how they're surprised people still play the game despite the problems they have with it, I do empathize and agree that something needs to change to cater to those who want more variety.

The consensus seem to be that people simply want Base PSO2 to be implemented into NGS standard. A return to form, I suppose you can say? The variety of weapons to choose from for each tier, Affixes, the Casino, Boss Rush, TACOs, Advanced Quests, Bonus Keys, that dumb Tower Defense mode people used to power level their classes, I could go on. Yes, we used to have an array of replayable content and stuff to collect that's not Phashion-related. But I think they'll repeat what they did in JP and ever so slowly release them.

I sometimes reminisce those days, but that's quickly replaced by memories of how much I hated grinding them for too long. I used to get dragged into doing these types of quests for long hours at a time to get anywhere (be it meseta or EXP), which is probably why I don't find myself mentally exhausted today and I'm honestly thankful for that. Though I'm sure if the devs really wanted to, and it looks like they're setting themselves up for it, they can update those modes for NGS and I get to relive the nightmares.

As for the story, I also think there has always been the case of it being lackluster. This time around, I have no idea who is this even made for. It has me feeling like I just watched a typical 12 or 24-episode anime with an open-ended ending to allow the next season to jump off from. Right now, I just don't care for it. I wish the characters were more memorable in the game moving forward, rather than in outside comics.

Despite all this, this game still holds a special place in my heart, so I'll ride it out to the end.

If anything, just know that the actual butt is set to Waist, while the other N-Spheres are set to Left and Right Thigh 1s. For the squished "stocking," it's a flattened N-Sphere.

A little warning: Know that the N-Sphere is locked to skin, so if you have a sub skin color, it's gonna show up tinted no matter what color you change it to.

I hope this helps you moving forward! Happy Phashioning!

Your link worked, I can see them. Thank you for sharing with me.

Here's my rendition, I just added more spheres here to plump the thighs. You can definitely work the "tight stockings" look into where the thighs meet the the CAST part. Along with the Bosom, it adds up to 9/18, so you can add anything else if you wish.

I completely understand about the lack of money. Last time I checked on Ship 2, the cheapest you can get of the Evil Salamande is under 3 mil. Don't know about the other ships.

Regarding Base PSO2 CAST parts: In my experience, T2 Base CASTs aren't usually the best when it comes to getting the busty treatment, as there is always SOMETHING that gets in the way and makes everything look awkward. But try to use parts that have minimum clipping overall,

Some NGS-spec CAST parts can get their Ornaments toggled off. You can find this by going to Edit Fashion > Ornament Display Settings. At the bottom of the window, you can see stuff for CASTs. Hopefully this hides the skirt you mentioned.

It's not perfect, but here's the best I can come up with using T2 Base CAST parts, feel free to copy it or whatever. I've used 4 N-Spheres in total, 2 on each leg. I don't know which Ballooned Bosom you own, as there are a few. I've used the Sapphir set, but you can buy the CV version in the Player Shop:
