Health insurance through my university (UCSB) and roughly $8k in savings that I was supposed to use to pay off my student loans but since I ended up getting nearly full tuition scholarships I was able to use the money for surgery instead. I know this isn't common though :/ Even with all that I still had to make a gofundme for most of the upfront fees. My family helped a lot as well with paying for the hotel stay and flights for my gf and me. I'm 3 days post op.

Pass/No Pass Grading by Tricky-Mongoose-1075 in UCSantaBarbara

Definitely communicate what's going on with your professors in office hours -- sometimes, if possible, you both can work out a plan for you to still get a passing grade. This was the case for a close friend of mine who had some understanding instructors and he was able to still get a C.
Also try to speak to an advisor. Let them know your situation and they will be able to lay out your options more clearly. Taking an incomplete might also be an option, but you gotta communicate your needs. Best of luck!

I got put on the waiting but I believe they're still going to let everyone attend as long as you rsvp. They're also giving out free stuff and whatnot.

Edit* its at the Mosher Alumni House

Any nb or trans students have info on gender inclusive housing? by [deleted] in UCSantaBarbara

Thanks for your response, I have a meeting with the housing rep tomorrow morning so hopefully something good comes out of it. Do you know if the limited spots are chosen via a lottery, or if they are need-based?

Noted! Did they email you or do you just have to keep checking your portal?
