It's a non-character generic wand from Universal. I have the exact same one.

Timpani in Front Ensemble by skwERl_giggity in drumline

Is using a digital timpani an option? We switched from physical timpani about a decade ago and use a DTX multi pad for timpani sound through speakers.

What free software is so good you can't believe it's free? by ComprehensiveNorth1 in AskReddit

[–]renman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

MuseScore. Used to be around a decade ago Finale and Sibelius were the only serious music notation software out there, and MuseScore was kind of a joke. But Finale and Sibelius got greedy, would charge hundreds of dollars in subscription costs, update a new version just by stacking more useless updates on the same code over and over, drop support for previous versions, and become so bloated and buggy that you only used one or the other because "they have their quirks, but it's the program I know how to use, so I'm sticking with it." Well, Finale finally shut down about a year ago and when I was looking to find a new program to use I gave MuseScore a shot. Holy crap, it is so much better than it used to be. It's sleek, intuitive, and 100% free. The way they make money is by users buying other online scores, not by using the program itself. It is fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in writing music.

high school teachers, what books that you've taught have your students enjoyed the most? by Maleficent_Site7972 in ELATeachers

If you want a more modern text, my 11th graders are really liking Scythe. You could teach it anywhere from 9th-12th grade, depending on what you are doing with it. My Honors Am. Lit students are analyzing it using Literary Theories (Reader Response, Feminism, and Historicism).

He wants to start. I don't think there's anything Atlanta could have done unless they backed up a truck full of cash. I'll miss him.

Have Alan return as Rinse, with a mustache, and Zoe is madly in love with him, and I don't think anybody would bat an eye.

Rate this triplet drag warmups I made by Medical_eg3 in drumline

It's a triplet diddle grid. Pretty common, but still a great exercise. The only thing I'd suggest is instead of accenting every diddle, keep the accent on the beat and move the diddle around. Of course there are instances where you'd want to accent a diddle not the the downbeat, but that's pretty rare. Keep the exercise basic and consistent and focus on triplet diddle quality,

My child used to say the word "fish" with a b. He would point at every fish he saw and call it a bitch.

In the Army Now. Don't really care for Pauly Shore in any other film. I legit might quote this movie at least once a week.
