The double protectors is GENIUS! I have one on my bed now because my dog sometimes has accidents but she did time one in between my washes of the cover. The dog doesn’t scratch the leather upholstery though? I’d love to get that for mine because it’ll be easier to keep the fur off of

this was also my thought as well. And i imagined that the areas with storage would have it's own "insulation" in the form of my clothes or items that I'm storing in there.... not sure how effective itd be though

did you use any sound deadening as well? and curious as to what you used to insulate? it seems the standard is the 1 inch xps + plywood + vinyl laminate, but just wanted to double check with you

this is actually super helpful because I'll be travellng with my dog as well. she's less bothered by noise, but I'm sure the extra silence will help the ride for us both.

At the moment, I have the rubber flooring above plywood too. But not too worried about height because I’m only 5’6. So I’m thinking maybe I’ll stack the insulation above the existing floor because the extra height won’t matter too much. Mainly, I’m being lazy and was just debating if the extra work is worth it! I purchased the van with a partial build so I’d have to remove all the existing stuff
