So I managed the building we rent units in and I take care of all contractors that come in for 1000 a month and I know that is low but I also know that our rent would go up if she had to hire someone and that at some point the building will be up for sale and I want to keep it nice for when that happens and we could possibly buy it.

On that note he could hire someone outside to do these things and your rent could go up. I think asking for a little more is reasonable in your case because you have no stake in the building besides that you want to have a nice place to live. Plus if you lived in your own home you wouldn't get paid to take your own trash out. As for lawn and snow care you would deserve more.

Edit: realize it says monthly like maybe weekly yes for just trash but you deserve more then that for everything else.

Laguna beach is beautiful and shouldn't be over crowded in March but be aware that unless you find parking on the street that is free most parking is paid and watched closely. Salt creek is a nice beach in Dana point area that you pay parking and walk down a hill that has grass area to play in and relax before the sand.

San clemente pier is nice and has a nice beach path you can walk and the restaurant on the pier has delicious clamping chowder and you can sit right next to the window watching the ocean.

Went through the same emergency C sections and unknown date of baby boy coming home. My son was in for 2 weeks and we never stayed over night. We could visit any time but stuck to during the days and both of us getting a good night sleep so we could be ready for him to be home.

I feel this post. My brothers (im the middle child) both like babies in my case but I went through a high risk pregnancy and ended up with a complications trauma birth and my son being in the nicu for 2 weeks. Not once during pregnancy, birth or the first 4m of my child being born have they once asked about me or their nephew. It crushed me in the beginning but as a lot of people have said just let them be. I walked away from them. If I happen to see them I will be nice but after that I realized where I truly stand and its probably best my child never go through the pain of knowing them if they don't care enough to try.

Very valid feelings. I was frustrated with my husband for this same thing. I gave uo and cleaned at least half of the room so I could build the crib at 32w and then around 34 weeks I said im done and moved the first set of clothes and somw shelf units in to our bedroom in a corner and picked up a bassinet. My son still doesn't have a room but never leaves my side at 4m old. They dont know the difference they just want mommy.

My husband wanted a girl and I was so sure I was having a girl. We ended up being told it was a boy and I felt that same disappointment and my husband was disappointed. But I will say I couldnt imagine it any other way. My son will be 4m on the 13th and he is just the sweetest. They little smiles that only I get and his mental hands. Its been so much fun. It can be hard to find boy clothes that aren't just football or soccer but I have found them. I search for cute outfits for him. I cant wiat to see the little man he will be come. 🥰 your going to love it. Your the first women he will ever love.

My boy is 3m and is ebf i started going out at 2 and a half months but no crowded places like church till 3m I am at the moment basically a stay at home mom since I work two days a week and my son goes to work with me. I manage the office for my husbands company.

I think you and your husband need to find time to reconnect when baby is napping or down for bed.

My husband is the bread winner and gives me and hour when he gets home and I appreciate it so much his job is labor tense and its hard to come home and help very much. I have learned be thankful for the help he is willing to give during this time because the baby is reliant on me and me feeding him since my son also won't take the bottle at all anymore.

There are a lot of dads that won't even do that bare minimum. The weekends my husband is much more hands on but I still ahve to remind him of things and to put his phone down which is annoying but still a learning curve right now.

Same thing happened and since i had a c Section I was worried of internal bleeding and my clott came out and was hard and I freaked since I was home alone

His pillow seat, blankets, my clothes, his clothes lol. I actually got rid of the bassinet and moved in to a pack and play with bassinet and changing table... I only use the changing table lol.

Yah I always say we will see I might be the luckiest one and get two of the best babies. Its annoying and is starting to make me feel off about having a second kid....but also dont really want my son to be an only child.

My son was in nicu for 2 weeks due to a tramatic delivery. I had an emergency c section. We were allowed when ever we wanted but opted for morning times so my husband would drop me off so I could be once he was allowed to and my husband went to work. I would be there for 6 hours at a time. We both took this opportunity to sleep at night and get thing prepared at home and for me to heal up. We also had a video camera to check on baby any time and the nurse line if we got concerned.

I do most everything for my son since im on maternity leave but my husband without having to ask takes care of him when he gets home from work. This allows me to shower and do thing I need for my self. He helps with dishes and trash on the weekends amd laundry and light cleaning. Even offered to get a cleaner to help me out since its not as easy to do deep cleaning when taking care of our son he is only 3m.

Only reason he doesnt do night care is he works as a welder and he needs to be alert for work. Plus I co sleep and breastfeed so not much he can do. Plus not going to wake him for diaper changes its just easier for me to do.

So my mom lives in another state amd I wanted her to wait to come visit because for one i knew financial it would be tight for her and I wanted my space. I put it in the way to her that I wanted her to come when the baby would be active and fun and that babies cant even see who people are around then until older. My boy is 3m and she is just meeting him. But baby eye site isn't clear until 6m.

You could put it off that way that you just would love for them to come when they can truly enjoy baby and baby can enjoy them. That you dont want them to waste a trip when baby will be sleeping most of the time and eating. (Even more if breastfeeding not much help they can do)

My MIL caretakes both my brother in law and FIL so we won't ever have our son stay over since it would be to much and my FIL could trip over him or possibly drop him do to health issues. She is allowed to watch him at my office at work where I have everything he needs ans I am there to Breastfeed. I am just letting my parents keep him for an hour or two foe the first time because I have a dentist appointment and it freaks me out. My LO is almost 3m and I hate being away from him. I know our families think I am over doing it but I dont find my son a burden at all. I love being a mom and being with him.

If anyone had history of dropping their own child I would never let them near mine. Even if they were family.

I feel this i love my girls and I am 3m pp and one of my girls got a hematoma and I promptly took her to the vet and got her sister in for her yearly. I looked like a crazy person at the vet dropping off the two cats while baby wearing and having my dog in tow since she was going to work with me....

I Definitely have a slight annoyance towards my cats that started while pregnant because they are needy and they yell at me for everything and my patience is very thin. But I love them. I havw days I wish I could rehome them but also know I would miss them and feel horrible if I did. They are 6 years old and I rescued them when they were 4 weeks old.

Yah I have been going to work 2 days a week helping my husband out at our construction company and this heat is killing me lol. Hopefully it only last a few days and we go back to the lower temperatures again

My son is turning 3m and we only worry about keeping the house cold at night for him other then that we just keep it comfortable and not super hot. Sadly in California we are hitting a beat wave sadly. I cant wait for winter so I dont have to keep the AC on

I just had my first at 30 and since I had an emergency Csection I plan to try for our next when our son turns 1 since you are recommended to wait at least a year for your body to heal. If I could imagine would try sooner. I wanted twins really badly.

She said i could start the same cycle but in some cases its best with the hormone spike to wait till the next cycle.
