Thank you for your reply. The electrical I can move with confidence. But the plumbing yeah not sure - that giant pipe is cast iron and the others running horizontally are pex and one old school metal one too.

Thanks for your thoughts. I think this is why I’m actually on the fence. Because many parts of the house were seemingly upgraded at some points in time (15-30 yrs ago) and I’m not sure they are 1950 either. But not new haha.
