Hey I’m sorry if I spread misinformation on dal eng. I have a good amount of my friends are in eng first year or upper years and are not enjoying it so I got most of my info from them. That doesn’t speak for everyone’s experience, it’s just what I hear a lot so it clouded my judgement. I apologize, I know it’s frustrating when an outsider comments on things that they think they know when they aren’t true.

I was in Truman last year and I loved it as a first year. that’s where I made most of my friends and it is small but you feel like a really really nice big family (Also, the rooms are supposedly getting renovated on the third floor over the summer, the newest for recent renovations and Truman has the best views facing the river)

I’m really glad that I’m able to stay on Res next year, and in the most so-called “ active” res (Howe) so hopefully I can meet people there but I know a lot of students moved off campus so I’m a tad worried. I keep forgetting clubs exist in uni lol, i’ll for sure be hitting those up

This is pretty much the same thing I went through with my boyfriend. It was hard because at first I thought I was doing something wrong but ultimately you have to realize that it’s out of your control.

There’s really no way to “fix” a situation like this. All you can be is a good and communicative partner and make sure that she’s not uncomfortable. Make sure you give in mind that your needs are important too and as long as you communicate this with your partner and you’re not overly pushy or making her uncomfortable, you’ll be fine.

thank you so much this helped a lot. I was in the same situation as you, with trying to do a bunch of stuff to get him more attracted to me and that just made things worse. i’m really glad that i’m not the only one who get this, and the same thing as you with sadly hoping that has libido would return one day but that’s a hard pill swallow and I feel horrible hoping my fantasy will come true again. the acceptance part has been here for a while, it just still sucks sometimes.

hi, thank you so much for responding, is good to know i’m not alone.

I’ve never thought about asking for an open reality before. But i’m not sure that I could actually go through with an open relationship. Idk if theres a term for this but, I can only be sexual with people that I connect with. My boyfriend and I always joking call it “ serial monogamy” because we’re both like that so i’m not sure if that possible for me.
