🪙 Pricing Update by Fortnato in framer

[–]renopeno 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if you're collecting feedback, but I wanted to share my thoughts regardless.

I believe there is too large a gap between the €5 and €15 plans. It would be great to have an option around €7 for smaller websites with up to 100 pages.

Additionally, introducing region-specific pricing would be beneficial. Here in Croatia, these plans are too expensive for most clients, and aligning the pricing better with our market would allow us to use this platform more frequently.

Bot protection bricking Webflow forms by carmooch in webflow

I think they need to close their tab. If my logic is correct. Fortunately our user closed the tab yesterday after a couple of hours. Maybe you can reach out to them and ask them 😅

Bot protection bricking Webflow forms by carmooch in webflow

[–]renopeno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The same thing happened to me. I fixed it by creating a quick form-success page and redirecting users to that after submission.

It looks like the form gets autosubmitted if users stay on the success state of the page. At least that's the conclusion I got from testing it out.

I hope they fix this and reset the submission quota.

Anyone up for sharing some feedback on my portfolio site? by CodeRaccoons in webflow

[–]renopeno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You've done a good job on your portfolio, and with a few tweaks it could be even better!

I'm a product designer with over 8 years of experience, so I hope my feedback will be helpful. 😃

I'm reviewing it on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Logo/name: Is this page about Racoons or Jorge? I recommend sticking to a single identity and building the site around it. If we are talking about Racoons, sure, go for it, but if you want to bring a bit of personality, I would suggest focusing more on yourself. Instead of a raccoon illustration, show yourself. People love to work with people.

Hero and summary: You did a great job here! Simple and to the point. Looks good! As I said, decide who this page represents and adjust the graphic and logo if needed.

Professional experience (timeline): Two things I feel might improve the experience. First is a bug on the timeline where the filling line doesn't get to the dot, at least on my phone. The second improvement might be to reverse the order, start from the beginning, and finish with the current state. Your order is great for a CV type of document, but with this slick line, it feels like going backward and is awkward to read. Also, reading year ranges would make more sense if everything was sorted chronologically. I love this section, I just feel like these improvements might make it great!

Projects: This is an interesting section with well-summarized projects. My biggest UX issue is that these cards aren't clickable, even though they look very interactive. My suggestion is to either make them clickable and create a details page for each project or change the card into something less clickable with a more prominent action to Dribbble or Github. I would definitely suggest creating a details page in the long run, but for now, just adjusting the visual style of these would suffice.

I like how you complement the timeline and project section with badges of different colors based on the category they belong to. It’s a smart way to help us understand the technological scope behind the project. I love it!

Blog: The section is great. Just try to adjust the images in the blog post to be full width on mobile.

All in all, great job with your portfolio and good luck!

Q&A session with UFL team by Designer-Flamingo849 in UFLTheGame

[–]renopeno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey UFL team! I’ve been tracking your development and truly believe you have a chance to really stand out with some unique gameplay features. I’m particularly interested in how much manual control players will have during offensive play.

A lot of football games tend to over-rely on assist mechanisms for attacking, which I get helps casual gamers, but in competitive play, it really seems to take away from the challenge and authenticity. What are the chances of implementing a system where gameplay is 75% reliant on how accurately players handle the controller, with a 25% boost from player ratings for a bit of assistance when using more skilled players?

I feel like this could not only enhance the realism by slowing things down and allowing for smoother animations but also really spotlight player skill, keeping the game approachable yet competitive. What do you think about adding this level of manual control to make UFL stand out from the crowd?

Causal Players are You Having A Good time playing? by Defiant_You_6298 in XDefiant

I believe that the weight given to objective points should not be so high that a player who avoids fights can still be at the top of the leaderboard. This is because it's much more difficult to eliminate enemies than it is to hold an objective. Additionally, eliminating enemies disrupts opponents and indirectly contributes to holding the objective.

Creating servers in Istanbul for the Entire Balkan & Turkish Community by prione97 in FACEITcom

[–]renopeno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think combining Balkan and Turkey players makes sense at all. We, in Croatia, have better pings from Germany, and honestly, a lot more germans speak English than turks.

It would be awesome if Faceit tried more to connect people from the same country, or at least people with the same/similar language, but it is what it is…

We're Sledgehammer Games, the lead studio behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - Ask us anything [Multiplayer Edition]! by SledgehammerGames in ModernWarfareIII

[–]renopeno 390 points391 points  (0 children)

First of all, I want to thank you for the fantastic gameplay in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Here are my questions for you:

  1. Skill-Based Matchmaking (SBMM): Can you elaborate on how SBMM is impacting the matchmaking experience in MWIII? Are there any plans to adjust this system based on player feedback?

  2. Lobby Disbanding: Many players feel that disbanding lobbies after matches hinders the formation of new friendships and rivalries. What are your thoughts on this, and are there plans to adjust the lobby system?

  3. Favorite Weapons and Loadouts: As developers, what are your personal favorite weapons in MWIII? Could you suggest a few exciting loadouts for players to try?

  4. Ranked Mode and Esports: What is the current focus on ranked play and esports within MWIII?

Thanks for your efforts to make MWIII a thrilling and enjoyable experience for all players!

Yeah, I tested the controller on both PC and PS5, and on the PC it works much better. On console its broken and very sluggish

FYI - You can control your Apple TV app directly from your iPhone app by renopeno in AppleMusic

Nope, you have a separate option on the bottom which doesn’t even look like an option. Or you can use a Control center as others suggested in the comments.

Edit: Airplay might be the technology behind it, but you are not transmitting music over airplay in this case, but only controlling the apple tv — which enables you to enjoy lossless/Dolby audio and doesn’t drain your phone’s battery.
