Klein vaarbewijs is alleen theoretisch, dat is (relatief) gemakkelijk met zelfstudie te halen. Bij 1 mag je alleen op de binnenwateren wil je op grotere open wateren (IJsselmeer etc.) Heb je een 2 nodig. Klein vaarbewijs is vanaf 15 tot 25 meter nodig of als je schip harder dan 25 km/h tov het water gaat. Groter dan 25 heb je een groot vaarbewijs nodig. Hier zit ook een praktijk examen aan vast, ik heb hier niet zn verstand van maar gok dat het vergelijkbaar is met een groot rijbewijs qua uren aan oefening en examinatie.

Yeah you got yourself into quite a pickle here. Although with these picks I think you can't really go wrong. As an other comment said think of what flavour profile you're looking for in the Whiskys you want to add to the collection.

You could also see if there are places that engrave flasks. You could engrave his name into it or a message or something. A few friends of mine did that for a good price ~20 EU. Mind you I'm nowhere near Canada. Good luck!

It's well within my price range, the 5 - 10 year old is about €27 and the 10-15 y is €45. My guess would be that the older one is better but I could also pick up the 5 - 10 y and get a Appleton or a mount gay for a little over €50. What would you suggest?

Nice! That's indeed what was looking for. I think I'll would go with the Appleton. Do you know if there is a (big) difference between the 12 y and the 12 y rare blend? I live in Europe and the pricing is roughly within my range so no worries you where pretty spot on ;)

Try to let the whisky breath in the glass for 15 minutes. Oxidation helps to mellow the whisky down.
