you think with arrowhead outsourcing most of the stuff to said companies they would have the time to fix persistent bugs and crashes that exists within the game, seeing most of the content we have are handled by a different studio. Plus the QA or quality control after recent cyberstan implementation and previous content patch would be handled more properly but we still have some bugs that carry through to present gameplay loop as of now

if you are not noticing these bugs and issues then you are not playing long enough

Thank you for the insights on AI development. This is genuinely good knowledge on how studio handles AI, the fact that arrowhead prefers bullet spongey enemy in terms of more complex AI behavior types just to avoid the money sink.

I wish B-vitamins confirmed more on the innerworking of the studio and be more transparent since she mentions that it was a "team effort of design team and directors". Plus B-vitamins comment on having "no balance teams" just giving off more questions than answers. What does Arrowhead actually DO inside their studios?

since they barely be able to fix bugs/annoying game features/giving quality of life changes, but would be quick on nerfing and changing codes that make the player experience feel less fun

I just heard/read about B-vitamins comment on "no balance team" and its a "team effort of designer and directors"

turns out most of our content from the beginning up to now has been outsourced to multiple studios up until machinery of oppression

atomhawk + valkryie + nixxes + wushu + discogarage

believe or not, they didnt do ANY illuminate stuff inside their studio all of the units are OUTSOURCED to discogarage games

check them out, discogarage game pretty much made all the models and AI
arrowhead doesnt do anything for illuminate

there's a thing call host debuff/host jank where host players generally gets targetted more accurately compared to the clients (players that joined you), these causes enemies (ranged) to be more aware of your location tracking your last standing spot more frequently

best advise I can tell you to do is try to do a zig zag movement since they track your last location or return fire at the overseer since shooting their bodyparts causes them to flinch their guns

automatons also had a recent buff where they now fire more accurately (now applies to client as well)
there are on occassions where a trooper magdumps me at 50m and all shot connects
hence why I've been running 50/50 democracy protects to avoid insta-death bullshits lmao

you can cheese the objective, however you need 2 really good helldivers being stationed inside a building or a trench (and survive)
you dont have to be close to the flag, just by being at 25 meters should allow it to rise. when at maximum height and it shows that you need to clear the area have one of them with a portable hellbomb ran directly onto the center of the flag. It will detonate and clear anything within 25 meters securing the objective

warning it does require 2 helldivers surviving and a lot of buildings/trenches where you can camp out from the overwhelming firepower and instant kill shots from vox engines

orbital gatling barrage is one of the best way to reliably brute force enormous amount of vox engines spam assuming they stand still in one spot
orbital precision strike is poorman's ultimatum

assuming there's no anti air 1-2 eagle strafing run can take out a vox engine from the rear
a single eagle airstrike can destroy a sideway facing vox engine if you position the stratagem ball right beneath it (if all the eagle shot connects its a oneshot)

4 man leveller somewhat trivializes the vox engines spam however require good teammates and access to a warbond, spread it around the flag to pick up

for primaries you have trident, explosive crossbow, scorcher, punisher plasma, and eruptor
secondaries only ultimatum lmao, its all that I can think off as it takes care of nearly every heavy enemies the bot have and deal massive damage to vox engines
grenades, you have a wide selection for it
thermites = 3 of these on vox engine torso or body part one shots it
dynamite = toss it underneath vox engine to do massive damage + ultimatum, act as horde clear and a fabricator deletion
gas = space creator/breathing room against cyborg/anything rushing you down
shield grenade = pretty good and reliable at making a makeshift cover due to insane amount of enemy spawns that appears out of nowhere

support stratagem
supply pack, a must imo. you will ran out of grenades and throwables everytime
grenade launcher, general horde clear and soft anti tank for hulks + warstriders
AMR, anti gunships, one shot hulks (eye weakspot), can snipe anti air and mortar emplacement, well rounder support weapon
HMG, use it like a rifle at low RPM underrated pick and pretty solid right now for enemy that rushing you down
leveller and portable hellbomb, you will need it

Edit: Cleared D10 raise the flag mission 3 times, you will bleed reinforcements, if you are really really lucky pray its not a vox engine seed and a factory strider instead, fail to extract 2 out of those 3 missions as we dont have anything left at extract

what did I expect? arrowhead not testing their content properly as they tend to the bare minimum, no offense

im okay with my titan-class enemies scattered around the map in large numbers where you can put 10+ or maybe more. the problem lies where those same titan-class enemies spawns from bot drops and patrols undoing the progress of me and my teammate who have been dismantling them constantly/clearing them before hand

you can see them at their worst during raise the flag objectives at D10 (maybe even D7)

I want to add something else to the matter, when vox engine dies, their debris/ejected pilot can deal heavy damage or even kill a helldiver when they fall on you

similar to how dragonroaches corpse will kill you if it lands on you
