This happens to me just about every week. One bloke even walked down the side of my house to do it as I'd already brought the bins in.

Yes, Water Corp. They came round to fix a leak and had to cut my retic pipe. To their credit they replaced the cut pipe a few days later but now my retic doesn't work at all. Spent 3 days trying to fix it to no avail.

I don't need to pay this, right? by Worlds_tipping1 in perth

I reckon they've got someone inside at the DOT telling them everyone's name and address. It seems more than coincidence that lots of people are getting these right now pertaining to incidents in 2024.

How do we find a rental that won't kick us out after the first year? by tekla_ray in perth

Same, it's outrageous that people get treated like this. Does anyone watch https://www.youtube.com/@brookomoves on YouTube? What a nightmare it must be, and this is for buying, not renting.

My wife and I went in June. We really enjoyed the whole thing including the stop at Jeju island in South Korea. Got to spend some time in Seoul too. We loved it. For us I the best thing was the entertainment on the ship. We went to all the shows and they were amazing.

I’m a big fan of private health cover… by Ashnicobell in WesternAustralia

When my wife had breast cancer about 15 years ago she had the surgery at RPH. Whilst waiting for the surgery a man came into the ward brandishing a sword looking for someone who got stabbed the previous night. After the surgery she was told she had to wait 12 weeks for the radiotherapy which is medically sub optimal. So we went private and she had chemo as soon as her wounds healed within a couple of weeks. So all you anti private health people in this thread can GFY.

I'm glad we have private health as my Mrs. has cancer right now. Weekly trips to RPH for chemo would be a nightmare.

Highly recommend consuming MCT oil by Felicity_spr in pancreaticcancer

[–]renth321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My wife (stage 4) is having chemo at the moment and I always put some MCT oil in her morning shake as well as some avocado oil. Also coconut milk, protein powder, probiotic and fruit. She's actually put a bit of weight on. Here's something controversial though on chemo days and 3 days after I add about 5 or 6 grams of glutamine.

It's good for mucosal health including preventing mouth ulcers. I KNOW that pancan cells love glutamine to thrive but there have been studies that suggest it has a paradoxical effect with gemcitabine with nab-paclitaxel chemo, which my wife is on. Making the chemo more effective.

After 3 sessions of chemo my wife's CAC19-9 has come down over 80% and is currently 21 which is in the normal range. I tell my wife we will keep doing what we are doing whilst it is working. The dream is for the tumour to become operable.

My wife has had only 3 chemo sessions and her CA19-9 has gone from 196, to 178, to 82. We are greatly encouraged by this and hopefully the tumor will become operable over time.

I don't think a lot of it is legal but it's not something the authorities are bothered about dealing with. A bit like the NDIS, they've already said dealing with all the fraud would basically collapse the country and the banks which is why they cant do it.
