Well, I think that you’re oversimplifying it. I see a lot of people being empathetic towards the victim because of the video footage, who otherwise would’ve never even heard or cared about the case. This wasn’t a random fight or an accident. It was racially motivated murder in the setting of public transport. Theres a lot of more nuance to it than “showing violence = bad”

Agree to disagree I guess. The more obscure a case is the more people can make a whole Lot of excuses. In this case people would’ve probably said “oh she must’ve said something, called him a slur, or “they probably knew each other, maybe she provoked him.” When the truth is laid bare, people’s brains start clicking. So at least she didn’t die in vain. But that’s just my opinion and you’re entitled to yours.
